    Best trip ever***!!!

My manaslu circuit was amazing..I had a close e mail contact to the agency manager before i came to Nepal. He answered every question...really reliable..in Kathmandu I met the agency manager shiva and guide. They both were so gentle. We started the trekking in the monsun season..I was a little worried but at the end we hiked through beautiful green valleys, the view was amazing..on glaciers, lakes and the manaslu. My guide Kendra was the best I could imagine. He was always by my side and had an amazing overview, knowledge and reference.. a lot of the villages were quite origin and we got traditional food and drinks. We spent a wonderful time together. All in all we hiked nearly 200 km..landscape and climate zones changed.. banana trees, butterflies, apple trees, pine trees, eagles, marmots and monkeys...so diverse!! A challenge was the 5200 larke pass..but my guide managed that before hiking in high altitudes, we had an appropriate acclimatization. At the end I must say, that I will never forget this kind of great adventure! I am so happy and satisfied with the whole trip!

    Best trip ever

My trekking around manaslu was totally amazing! I had a real close contact to shiva, the boss of the agency the months before the travel to Nepal..that gave me a feeling of trust..when I came to Kathmandu I met him and my guide. I immediately felt safe and both of them were really gentle..we went 7 hours by common bus to the startpoint of our trekking..that was great! To get into real nepali life..I met gentle people all the way through green valleys and great mountain view..even if we started in the monsoon season, we had beautiful and amazing views on manaslu! During daytime we had no rain surprises..we hiked nearly 7 hours a day..and all in all we did 200 km..landscape changed from humid warm banana region to pine trees ..monkey area..and Stony alpine region..we could observe big eagles and an amount of different colourful big butterflies. my guide Kendra always was by my side..he was really familiar with the region and also he could arrange everything. He was the best man I could imagine!! So nice and peaceful in behaviour! His English was really good..so that we could talk a lot during our breaks. He put a lot of effort in my well being..we acclimatized before hiking in high altitudes so that my first experiences in the 5000 regions were amazing and safe ! Of course I will never forget these unique experience! From the beginning to the end of my trip I was so happy! I enjoyed the whole trekking a lot! It's suited also good for families with older children..trails are not that difficult. . Food in the teahouses is diverse and so good! You get traditional dhal Bhat and also an amount of western likely food. They got warm blankets in the accomodation so that you don't need to bring a big sleepingbag. .I am totally satisfied with the chosen agency!

Round Manaslu Trekking: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.

How much does Round Manaslu Trekking cost?

    +

Prices start at $2,160 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Round Manaslu Trekking take?

    +

Plan for about 288 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.

Is Round Manaslu Trekking worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 53 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 2 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Round Manaslu Trekking?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Round Manaslu Trekking suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 288-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Round Manaslu Trekking?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 288-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Round Manaslu Trekking start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?

    +

On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Kathmandu Sightseeing | UNESCO World Heritage sites Private/Group, Manaslu Circuit Trek, Manaslu Circuit Trek: Private Group & Discounte Price. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Kathmandu?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
