    Overpriced experience

I cannot believe this was $29/person. We (foolishly) believed that some items would be included upon solving a clue. (For instance, an ice cream once we found the ice cream store) The only included thing in the scavenger hunt was a canva chart with suggested activities. This was also not a clue-based, solve a mystery kind of event. It was literally just suggested activities. The ideas were mostly fun, (hence 3 stars) but this should have absolutely been a one-time payment per group. We were convinced our virtual guide was a bot until she asked for a tip at the end. I am 100% positive that the scavenger hunts I have made for free, on my own for my students are more challenging. Very disappointing for the price.

AlleyKat Adventures - Red River Scavenger Hunt Was A BLAST!

This was such a fun experience! I met my lifelong friend and her husband in Red River for the weekend. We spent all day Sunday having fun with the Red River Scavenger Hunt. It’s supposed to be two hours long but we wanted to continue finishing all the scavenger hunt missions and could do that at no extra cost. We played with it all day! Things I wouldn’t have done if I hadn’t been on the scavenger hunt: 1. Visited a candy store and re-experience the candy of my childhood! Some of it was as delicious as I remembered, some not. 2. Ridden the ski lift to take beautiful pictures at the top. 3. Visited a haunted hotel. 4. Pretended to do yoga at the park (we are all 69 years old, out shape and fat so it was hilarious!) 5. Had a peanut butter and banana milkshake. 6. Skipped rocks on the river. 7. Explored a ghost town. I’ve been to Red River many times but this was a new way to experience it! I went to places and saw things that I didn’t even know existed before. The scavenger hunt was a blast! The hosts, Kate and Trisha, stayed in contact with us throughout the day and cheered us on. Try it out! I want there to be one in my town (Los Alamos) now!

How much does Raging Red River Scavenger Hunt cost?

    +

    +

That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 2 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Taos, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Raging Red River Scavenger Hunt?

How far in advance should I book Raging Red River Scavenger Hunt?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Taos and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

When is the best time to visit Taos?

    +

How many days do you need in Taos?

    +

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
