Taos First Timer
This was a unique and creative experience to get acquainted with Taos. The challenges were interesting but there were way more than what we could finish. The time went by fast and we had lots of fun!
Response from the operator: Thanks so much for doing my hunt! It is true that only 10% of people in any of my 20 locations do all the clues in 2 hours.I purposely design a challenging hunt but people can choose the order they do the clues so no one ever gets stuck like in an escape room. There are some things that help for hunters who want to take on the High Achievers challenge. Tips I can offer are: Be well rested, well fed and eat before the hunt. Wear comfortable shoes and have your cell phone fully charged. Put some energy unto your team name and photo on whats app before the game to establish communications with your hunt host. Show up on time( it can be stressful running late) and be ready to give the hunt a good two hours of your time and energy. Make sure your entire team is in a huddle and pays attention to the appx 7 minute powwow. Time goes by fast so plan to skip buying food, long conversations and shopping during the hunt. I am not saying these hunters ignored these tips but just using their review as a teaching moment for future hunters to make the most of this adventure.

Great family time
We met our adult daughter and her boyfriend first a ling weekend. We were looking for things to do and found this scavenger hunt on Tripadviser. We had a lot of fun and a lot of laughs interacting with the locals and being silly. This was well put together and easy to follow. We did not finish in time as we were distracted by places we found and people we met. This was a great way to spend a couple of hours.

Creative and engaging with surprises!
Creative and immersive game! I hadn’t done a scavenger hunt and had no idea what to expect but this game was filled with fun surprises and interesting stories about the history of Taos. We got great photos we shared with family back home and met some fun locals who helped us and even bought one a candy apple as the friendliest local award! We loved visiting Sunset Park,a gem in the heart of Taos.

Get out there!
Our family of 4 adults and 4 kids, aged 11-16, did this scavenger hunt during a weekend camping trip. We can be a little competitive. The curator had us split into 2 teams and we had a great time. We walked a lot, talked to strangers, and created wonderful memories. Thank you to Tara!

Taos Excellent Carb Repair Service
While in Taos the heater motor on our car quit working on the 11th of February, and we had to be in Arizona on the 14th. The nearest VW dealer was in Santa Fe and their earliest appointment was after the 14th. Oh oh…. Looks like we will be late. On the advice of our host I contacted Metric Motors, in Taos and spoke with Dawn Mondragon, (Service Advisor). The best she could do was a February 13th. appointment. I took the car in on the 12th. hoping they would have a cancellation and be able to look at it sooner. They diagnosed the problem that day and Dawn was able to locate an after market fan that would be delivered on the 13th. It did arrive as promised and was ready to be picked up by 2pm. Amazing service. We were able to meet with our friends in Pinetop on Valentines Day as planned. Yahoo. Then on the 15th. Dawn texted me to make sure everything was working properly. And it was. Thank you very much Dawn and the staff at Metric Motors. End of adventure……
