Nepal Unique Treks and Dil Gurung will made your trip so easy and enjoyable.

Nepal Unique Treks and Dil Gurung made this trip so easy and enjoyable. We had the experience and responsible guide Pasang Sherpa take us on the 15-day trek to Everest Base Camp Trek 5364 m. He was so kind, knowledgeable, and had excellent English. We would have been completely lost without him. He looked after us like we were his own. Our porter Pemba was also amazing. Thank you Nepal Unique Treks Family for such a life-changing experience in Himalaya

Trekking to Everest Base Camp. Highly recommended!

Before the EBC trip, I knew this could be the life trip, so I've researched, read through a lot of reviews, websites and asked around my friends to choose the best tour company as far as I can for my trip. And by word of mouth, I chose this company, Nepal Unique Treks. Not be quite 100% confident at that time. I contacted Dil to arrange the tour agenda, airport pickup, packing list recommendation... Everything is easier than I thought. Although Dil had to take a group to EBC at that time (hardly access to Internet along the way), but he tried to reply my every single questions with patience and carefulness. The day I came to Kathmandu, the flight was delayed more than a hour, but Dil still waited for me there and took me to the very nice hotel in Thamel. On the way to EBC, I knew that me and my friend stopped a lot to take the photos (I myself took around 3k photos for EBC trip) and Binaya (our guide) still waited for us patiently to make sure 2 of us and him always stick together, no one left behind. Some days, the weather is very cold, standing in one place will make you get colder than walking, but Binaya was always standing there and waited for us to take the photos/changing clothes/drinking water/resting. Three of us talked and laughed a lot along the way. It's really unforgettable memory. At night, Binaya helped us order food/drink and arranged room for us very carefully. He also shared us about next day’s itinerary so that we can be well-prepared. I got stomatch problem on the way back, Binaya took after me very carefully and checked for my health very frequently. He also always reminded us to walk very slowly to prevent unexpected injuries. After coming back after the trek, Dil helped me arrange private car with best price (including a well English speaking tour guide) to visit Pashupatinath Temple, Hindu Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Monkey Temple, Patan old town. I don’t think I can visit a lot of places in one day like this with a very good price. Dil also arranged a very good dinner to congratulate us to finish the EBC trek, we enjoyed the culture show of local people while having the dinner there. I love the Raski (Nepalese Rice Wine), we drank and had lots of fun together. My last day in Kathmandu, Binaya came with me to the airport to say goodbye. On the way to EBC, I can see a lot of company took their customers as well. Some are good, some are bad. In a dinner at Lobuche (one of the last lodges before reaching to EBC), I heard a story from a friend sit next to me, she said she got sick and her guide (from other company) didn’t have any medicines for her, and he kept telling her that she can call helicopter to get back to Kathmandu. No caring, no asking. And on the way, he always walked very fast. Luckily she got recovery and can finish the trek. But thinking back, I feel I’m very lucky to choose the right company in the first place, our guide always brought the medicine, and the most important thing is, he’s always with us. Thank you Dil, Binaya and Nepal Unique Treks.

Privet Day Tours in Kathmandu Nepal: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.

How much does Privet Day Tours in Kathmandu Nepal cost?

+

Prices start at $120 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Privet Day Tours in Kathmandu Nepal take?

+

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.

Is Privet Day Tours in Kathmandu Nepal worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 53 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Privet Day Tours in Kathmandu Nepal?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Privet Day Tours in Kathmandu Nepal suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Privet Day Tours in Kathmandu Nepal?

+

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Privet Day Tours in Kathmandu Nepal start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?

+

On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour | UNESCO World Heritage sites, Classic Everest Base Camp Trek, Manaslu Circuit Trek. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Kathmandu?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
