This travel experience was so easy from booking to getting to the car. I had looked at the booking and many people were talking about it being for two adults. I called immediately as we are a family of four. They answered right away and assured me, everything was good to go when we showed up at the airport. Louis greeted us with a sign and made it super easy so we didn't have to tap into our international phone service. Our trip was smooth. He had plenty of water plenty of information for us as well. The van itself seemed brand new and was extremely clean. It was plenty of room for all of us to relax and to carry our luggage. We would definitely book again.

Stonehenge Tour from Airport

We flew in overnight to London Heathrow, and we were taking a cruise out of Southampton. We landed earlier than expected, but our driver was right there waiting as he had followed our flight online. Since Stonehenge is outside of London, this was the perfect way to tour since we couldn’t get into our hotel until later in the afternoon. It is a self guided tour and will take at least 1-2 hours. It wasn’t very crowded, but as we were leaving, it started to get more crowded. Our driver, Riu (sp?) was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and very helpful! He was from Portugal so he also gave us some great tips as we were headed there on the cruise. I would give more than five stars if it were an option! The van was super comfortable and had plenty of room for all of our luggage since we were on a trip for about three weeks. I highly recommend this experience!

Our driver, Joao, was waiting for us and helped with bags to an immaculate MB for our drive from Heathrow to port in Southampton via Stonehenge. Wonderful way to start our trip!

Professional experience and will book with them again and again.

Excellent service. Jose was our driver and he was very professional, answered all our questions as several of the group had not been to London before and so patient with 6 females from USA. He handled our luggage with ease and laughed freely as we joked with him and amongst ourselves. We all gave him an A+ rating.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! It was truly a pleasure driving you all, you made my day with your energy, humor, and great company. I’m glad I could help answer your questions and make your first visit to London a smooth and enjoyable one. Handling the luggage was no trouble at all, and I appreciated all the laughs along the way! An A+ from such a fun group means a lot, hope to see you again on your next adventure! Warm regards, Jose

Private Transfers London Heathrow to Southampton Cruise Terminal via Stonehenge: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for London.

How much does Private Transfers London Heathrow to Southampton Cruise Terminal via Stonehenge cost?

+

Prices start at $450 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in London usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Transfers London Heathrow to Southampton Cruise Terminal via Stonehenge take?

+

Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in London is not rushed.

Is Private Transfers London Heathrow to Southampton Cruise Terminal via Stonehenge worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in London, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Transfers London Heathrow to Southampton Cruise Terminal via Stonehenge?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Transfers London Heathrow to Southampton Cruise Terminal via Stonehenge suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Transfers London Heathrow to Southampton Cruise Terminal via Stonehenge?

+

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in London can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in London and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Transfers London Heathrow to Southampton Cruise Terminal via Stonehenge start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central London within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in London?

+

London's best attractions split cleanly: the museums are free and need no booking, so the paid market is about views, theatre and getting out of the city for a day. That makes value scoring unusually important here, and the Outty Ranking penalises anything charging premium prices for access you could get for nothing. On Outty we rank every London experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Soho Music & Historic Pubs Tour, London Small Group Tour of Historical Pubs, The Great British Rock and Roll Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit London?

+

May to September for long evenings, December for the Christmas markets. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in London?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
