Best photo tour ever!

I could not have asked for a better photography tour, guide or instructor. I had the good fortune of having one of the owners of the company as my instructor and she knew not all the best locations but had amazing expertise in night photography. Long exposures…ND filters….Bulb mode. All the areas that I don’t typically do in my photography. She really helped me step outside of my comfort zone, not only in composition, but from a technical standpoint. I have taken other photography related tours in Europe, and this one was the best.

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your fantastic review. We are delighted that you had the best photography experience ever with Lou. It was our pleasure to help you explore the creative genre of night photography and learn how to use your camera equipment with ease so that you can take great photos anywhere in the world. This is an exciting time for your photography as you continue to develop your photography skills. Wishing you the very best and hope to see you again on your next visit to London.

A great way to see London and make art

I enjoyed my photography tour around London. Having a local guide who is both a photography educator and knowledgeable of the local area made this the perfect excursion. I’m an experienced photographer but was only in town for two days on my first-ever trip to London. I needed to make the most of my time while trying to see and capture as much as I could. Home with beautiful images that will soon hang on my walls.

Amazing London Night Photo Experience

I had a wonderful time taking night photos around London with Lou. She is very knowledgeable about night photography and photography in general. I learned a lot from her. She talked about composition, using light to compose the picture, and being patient. I got some great photos of the London Eye and St. Paul Cathedral from across the Thames. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to learn more about night photography.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your fantastic feedback. Delighted that you enjoyed your night photography tour with Lou and learned many new things about framing, composition and utilising light to get the best night shots possible. Wishing you the very best with your photography and look forward to another tour with you in the future.

Skilled photographer, great instructor

Lou was absolutely amazing and everything that we wanted in a photography guide. She helped with settings on our cameras, she took us to stellar locations where we could get some stunning compositions. She is an excellent teacher, calm and patient. If I could’ve given her 10 stars, I would’ve done so. I highly recommend using her services. :-)

Response from the operator: Thank you for your fabulous review. We are delighted you had a great time with Lou and benefited from her knowledge, both in the locations she shared with you and her knowlege of photography. Glad you enjoyed the tour and took home stunning compositions of your trip to London. Wishing you the very best with your photography in the future. We look forward to working with you again on your next vist.

Private Tour: Night Photography Tour in London: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for London.

How much does Private Tour: Night Photography Tour in London cost?

+

Prices start at $225 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in London usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Tour: Night Photography Tour in London take?

+

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in London is not rushed.

Is Private Tour: Night Photography Tour in London worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 48 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in London, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Tour: Night Photography Tour in London?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Tour: Night Photography Tour in London suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 16. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 3-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Private Tour: Night Photography Tour in London?

+

Around 17 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in London can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in London and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Tour: Night Photography Tour in London start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central London within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in London?

+

London's best attractions split cleanly: the museums are free and need no booking, so the paid market is about views, theatre and getting out of the city for a day. That makes value scoring unusually important here, and the Outty Ranking penalises anything charging premium prices for access you could get for nothing. On Outty we rank every London experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Soho Music & Historic Pubs Tour, London Small Group Tour of Historical Pubs, The Great British Rock and Roll Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit London?

+

May to September for long evenings, December for the Christmas markets. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in London?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
