Tour was canceled

The tour was delayed 3 hours the day of tour (9am to noon) and so we had to cancel because we had other commitments in the evening. The refund was process efficiently, so still giving three stars.

Response from the operator: Tour was cancelled due to the weather and we cannot and do not control the weather.

Great time, great place, great guides!

Highly recommended. Pleasant drive, stopped for yummy eats both on the way and on the way back. On the trail the guides were EXCELLENT dealing with physical limitations in our group. They selected a shorter path and gave lots of colorful information about the area while we worked through the trail. Could not have asked for more. The falls are amazing, the trail is fun and the water is cool and refreshing. Top Notch!

Response from the operator: Thank you for your review and for booking with Cabo Paradise Tours. We are happy to hear you had a great experience with us and that you enjoyed the tour. We are here at your service anytime you come back to Cabo for yacht rentals, fishing trips, all tours and activities in Cabo!

Adventure hike and swim

This hike and swim was for those who can handle rough terrain and heights. I recommend this tour with Miguel and Danny took us on. They were very informative and friendly and helped us traverse rocky areas. If you love to jump into water from ledges, there are three areas to do so. If heights aren’t your thing, you can use a rope to climb down. We learned about ranchero culture and ate delicious empanadas on the way there. Bring money for trinkets and empanadas and of course- TIPS!

Response from the operator: Thank you Tina for your review and for booking with Cabo Paradise Tours the Sierra de la Laguna Hiking Tour. It was nice having you with us, and we are happy to hear you had an amazing experience with your hiking guides Miguel and Danny. They are both great awesome guides who are passionate about their job, fun, friendly, and knowledgeable. We are here at your service anytime for yacht rentals, fishing trips, all tours and activities. We hope you come back to Cabo soon!

A MUST DO in Cabo San Lucas!

Let me start by saying I am not one to leave reviews but this was absolutely necessary!! This experience far exceeded my partner and I’s expectations. Danny was a WONDERFUL, knowledgeable and experienced tour guide. We started the day by stopping at a local spot for an authentic breakfast experience (empanadas and burritos - yum!) Afterward breakfast and on our way to the hike we stopped in another location, as Danny said he thought we “might as well stop on the way” for a bonus! When a tour guide asks “so… you guys aren’t on any sort of time crunch, right?” you know you are in for a treat! It is clear Danny genuinely enjoys what he does and takes the time to ensure you have an unforgettable experience. We felt very well taken care of on the hike, encouraged but not pushed to take part in swimming, jumping off of rocks, etc. and Danny always offered an alternative to something we did not feel comfortable with. We felt as though we were just spending the day with an old friend and exploring the BEAUTIFUL Sierra de la Laguna! In addition to a wonderful day outside we had fun, informative conversation and were given awesome recommendations for things to do during our week in Cabo. Seriously… we have not stopped talking about this day and the wonderful experience we had with Danny. If you are visiting Cabo San Lucas… this is a must!!!

Response from the operator: Thank you Michelle for your review and for booking with Cabo Paradise Tours the Sierra de la Laguna Hiking Tour. PRIVATE Sierra de Laguna Hiking & Natural Water Swim Waterfall: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cabo San Lucas.

How much does PRIVATE Sierra de Laguna Hiking & Natural Water Swim Waterfall cost?

+

Prices start at $249 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cabo San Lucas usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does PRIVATE Sierra de Laguna Hiking & Natural Water Swim Waterfall take?

+

Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cabo San Lucas is not rushed.

Is PRIVATE Sierra de Laguna Hiking & Natural Water Swim Waterfall worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cabo San Lucas, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule PRIVATE Sierra de Laguna Hiking & Natural Water Swim Waterfall?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is PRIVATE Sierra de Laguna Hiking & Natural Water Swim Waterfall suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 7. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 6-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book PRIVATE Sierra de Laguna Hiking & Natural Water Swim Waterfall?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cabo San Lucas can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cabo San Lucas and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does PRIVATE Sierra de Laguna Hiking & Natural Water Swim Waterfall start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cabo San Lucas within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cabo San Lucas?

+

On Outty we rank every Cabo San Lucas experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cabo Desert Off-Road & Beach Horseback Combo and Tequila Tasting, Humpback Whale Watching Tour in Cabo San Lucas, Cabo All-Inclusive Private Beach Club with Open Bar and Buffet. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cabo San Lucas?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cabo San Lucas?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
