Really fun trip with great snorkeling and awesome dive guide and captain! Will be back for more in January!

Captain Freddie and Dive guide Donna were the best! Quick tour of the Arch, divorce beach and then right to Pelican rock for the snorkeling adventure. Donna was thorough about safety great spots to see the best sea life. We always enjoying new dive spots and looking forward to our next trip back in January 2027. Planning to do the Santa Maria and Chellano bay then. A big thanks to Beatriz for answering our questions about the trip before booking! Cabo Trek is AAA company. A big Mahalo! Ron and Meilani

    Kid Friendly Experience

This is the way to go with small kids. We were a group of 7 with three kids ages 3, 7, and 9. Adriana was awesome and patient with them. They loved it! Adrian navigated the choppy waves great. If you are considering it, just book it :-)

    Amazing morning snorkel in Cabo

The tour took us past Pelican Rock, the arch and along the pacific ocean past "Divorce Beach." Then onwards to our first snorkeling reef where the water was crystal clear. Maria, our guide, offered wetsuits in case anyone wanted one though the water was plenty warm at 80 degrees and only one person in our group opted for the spring wetsuit. We saw Mobula Rays jumping out of the water in large groups and Maria pointed out an entire group of them gliding across the seabed, clearly visible even from a depth of about 30ft. One in our group saw baby reef shark and followed it. Our captain, Freddie spotted sea turtles on our way back and we stopped to observe them. Maria is a marine biologist and a wealth of knowledge about the local wildlife. She was in the water with us the whole time, carefully checking that we were comfortable at all times and replaced a snorkel when it leaked. We saw all manner of fish and compared to prior trips to the Caribbean, the waters of Cabo San Lucas were so crystal clear we could see through 30-40 feet in depth easily. This made the last stop of snorkeling around Pelican Rock so amazing. Not sure if the afternoon trips have similar visibility, or if we just got lucky the day we went but I highly recommend the trip.

Our snorkel marine wildlife bonanza. Maria our guide and Freddie our captain could not have been more professional.

Very convenient to downtown and cruise tender. If your snorkel mask doesn’t work perfectly, ask for a replacement.

    Maria and captain are so...

Maria and captain are so friendly and helpful. Great tour. Our cruise was late and they waited for us for 2 hours.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind words! We are happy to hear that Maria and our captain were so helpful during your visit. At Cabo Trek, we always try to be flexible with our guests arriving by cruise ship to ensure you don't miss out on the experience. We are glad it worked out perfectly and hope to see you again soon!

Private Snorkeling Tour in Cabo San Lucas: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cabo San Lucas.

How much does Private Snorkeling Tour in Cabo San Lucas cost?

    +

Prices start at $399 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cabo San Lucas usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Snorkeling Tour in Cabo San Lucas take?

    +

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cabo San Lucas is not rushed.

Is Private Snorkeling Tour in Cabo San Lucas worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 75 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 79 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cabo San Lucas, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Snorkeling Tour in Cabo San Lucas?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Snorkeling Tour in Cabo San Lucas suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Snorkeling Tour in Cabo San Lucas?

    +

Around 28 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cabo San Lucas can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cabo San Lucas and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Snorkeling Tour in Cabo San Lucas start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cabo San Lucas within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cabo San Lucas?

    +

On Outty we rank every Cabo San Lucas experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cabo Desert Off-Road & Beach Horseback Combo and Tequila Tasting, Humpback Whale Watching Tour in Cabo San Lucas, Cabo All-Inclusive Private Beach Club with Open Bar and Buffet. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cabo San Lucas?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cabo San Lucas?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
