    Next level

I really had a fantastic experience doing street photography with Lou. We found so much of interest to shoot, using several techniques, and it was both challenging and rewarding engaging with people along the way. Plus I got more than 15 “strong” photos from the session. Next level.

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your fantastic feedback. We are pleased that you enjoyed the new street techniques which Lou discussed with you and showed you how to use them. We are delighted that you found them both challenging and rewarding, and gained so much in your street approach from using them. We are very much looking forward to working with you again in the future. Keep up the good work.

Challenge yourself - you won't regret it!

Lou is an excellent guide, coach and teacher. We worked through different techniques and approaches to build my confidence and improve my technique. This was a real challenge for me personally in terms of how I normally take photographs, but worth every moment. We went to places with a vibrant street life that presented myriad opportunities but as well as becoming more confident it was also important to be come more selective. I learned to think about the image I wanted to create and how to capture it before pressing the shutter so that I could capture better, more meaningful images. An invaluable step on my photographic journey, and I can see the difference in my photographs before and after the workshop.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your wonderful feedback. Delighted to hear that you had a great time while learning new ways to approach street photography. It's fantastic that you liked our street locations which we have carefully selected to enhance your learning experience. This is an exciting time for your photography as you continue to develop your skills as you work through the different techniques and approaches delivered by Lou. It was a real pleasure meeting and working with you. Wishing you all the best with your photography.

A brilliant photo tour with London Photo Tours

A superb afternoon spent with Lou Smith of London Photo Tours, learning the principles and practical methodology of street photography. Lou took great trouble to explain the optimal camera set up, and then the way in which to take street scene images. During the afternoon, we had break-away sessions to practice our techniques, and then Lou reviewed the images in a helpful and positive way. Lou was at all times encouraging and supportive, able to sensibly critique my images and from which I learned a lot. A fantastic and highly recommendable experience.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your fabulous feedback. We are absolutely delighted that you had a great time on our Private Street Photography Tour with Lou. We are pleased that you found Lou's expert tips on optimal settings for street photography so useful, and this this helped to empower your street photography technique. We had a fantastic day together and it was our pleasure to review and critique your work to help you further develop your personal street photography skills. Wishing you the very best with your photography and hope to see you again soon. Once again, thank you for taking the time to add your review, it is greatly appreciated.

Private London Street Photography Workshop: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for London.

How much does Private London Street Photography Workshop cost?

    +

Prices start at $225 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in London usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private London Street Photography Workshop take?

    +

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in London is not rushed.

Is Private London Street Photography Workshop worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 54 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in London, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private London Street Photography Workshop?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private London Street Photography Workshop suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private London Street Photography Workshop?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in London can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in London and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private London Street Photography Workshop start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central London within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in London?

    +

London's best attractions split cleanly: the museums are free and need no booking, so the paid market is about views, theatre and getting out of the city for a day. That makes value scoring unusually important here, and the Outty Ranking penalises anything charging premium prices for access you could get for nothing. On Outty we rank every London experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Soho Music & Historic Pubs Tour, London Small Group Tour of Historical Pubs, The Great British Rock and Roll Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit London?

    +

May to September for long evenings, December for the Christmas markets. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in London?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
