Great for a quick glimpse into Balinese culture and attractions. Highly recommended.
This day tour was a great way to experience many of Balinese attractions to get a good sense of their culture. The actual car ride was a surprisingly large part of the positive experience, as it showcased local living in less populated regions. And the air conditioning was a nice relief between the uncomfortably hot destinations. Our driver, Dwi Gusti, was especially nice and flexible with our day trip timings. Extending our trip due to traffic and encouraging us to take our time at attractions. The lunch that was included in our deal was above expectation. The trip includes a very professional restaurant style lunch, drink and dessert overlooking the rice terrace from what appeared like a local resort. Finally, be prepared for some steep stepping climbs. My 60 - 70 year old family members did experience some challenges with the staircases. Though their are rails for support and our driver was nicely patient. I missed out, but bringing some swimmers and a towel would've been great at Tegenungan Waterfall. For those wanting a peak into Balinese culture and attractions with limited time and budget. I very highly recommend this tour.

Yuda was the best tour guide!
We were lucky enough to have Yuda as our tour guide. I had no idea of what to expect and Yuda wnet above and beyond to make sure we fell in love with Bali! I knew we were in good hands when he constantly communicated with me the details of when and where he would pick us up. I didn’t have to call him once! He made Some suggestions on where we were going and wanted our feedback. Our first stop was at a place where they weave linen. We were suppose to go to the monkey park but it was raining heavily so he took us to the linen place first, in door and we didn’t have to deal with the downpour. Then we went to a lovely coffee spot where we learned all about the process of how they make coffee. We sampled many different types of tea and coffee native to the area. We then were on our way to the money park since the rain had stopped. Yuda was by our side in every step. He communicated with the people there to help us get the most out of our experience. The monkeys did not disappoint. Yuda then took us to a fantastic place for lunch. We overlooked a beautiful landscape that you only dream about seeing in real life. Truly magical. Yuda helped us figure out what we should order. After we finished our lunch, and we were in no way rushed, Yuda took us to a sacred temple known as the elephant cave. Again, simply breath taking. After walking around the shrine we went to the waterfall. Yuda once more was with us every step of the way making sure we were getting the most out of our experinece. After we took our pictures and did some shopping it was time to get back to the ship. Yuda made sure this was a perfect day in Bali. He handled the traffic like someone who has been doing this for years, he made sure we saw everything we could see at the stops we chose and was always extremely helpful in making sure we got the most of our day! I hope to return to Bali one day and when I do Yuda will be one of my first calls!

Ubud half day tour
Booking the tour with "bali day tour" had been flawless, from the way they assist us to accomodate our flight and the wedding schedule after. Our tourguide, Nyoman was very helpful and friendly. He even ensure that we were brought safely to our wedding venue, by offering us a freeride - beyond what was expected of him. He was very courteous and with his smiling face, we indeed had a very memorable and enjoyable experience. Highly recommended! I especially enjoyed our waterfall trip and the great pictures he got of me and my mom.

Why this scores 63
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Half-Day Tour: Ubud Waterfall Trip Packages: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Seminyak.
How much does Private Half-Day Tour: Ubud Waterfall Trip Packages cost?
+
Prices start at $40 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Seminyak usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Half-Day Tour: Ubud Waterfall Trip Packages take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Seminyak is not rushed.
Is Private Half-Day Tour: Ubud Waterfall Trip Packages worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Seminyak, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Half-Day Tour: Ubud Waterfall Trip Packages?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Half-Day Tour: Ubud Waterfall Trip Packages suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 2. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 6-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Private Half-Day Tour: Ubud Waterfall Trip Packages?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Seminyak can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Seminyak and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Half-Day Tour: Ubud Waterfall Trip Packages start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Seminyak within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Seminyak?
+
On Outty we rank every Seminyak experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Best of Bali Waterfalls: Tibumana, Tukad Cepung and Tegenungan, Bali Instagram Tour: The Most Scenic Spots, Ubud Hot Springs and Waterfall Private Guided Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Seminyak?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Seminyak?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
