Exceptional customized tour
Personalized and customized to your interests, this tour is the way to go if you want to see a couple of places in depth. Gio was helpful with advance planning; our guide, Charlotte was very knowledgeable and proactive in working with my mobility challenges. We were able to cover much more with her assistance than we would have been able to do on our own.

The Best Way to See London
As I was searching for a private tour guide in London that included car service, I came across Private London Tours. From the very beginning, Gio made the experience feel personal, and communication was always easy and responsive. It felt like working with a family-run business rather than a large corporate company. He patiently answered all of my questions, and I knew we had chosen the right company. Our group consisted of nine people, ranging from children as young as 8 years old to older adults. The tour was thoughtfully planned to match our group’s pace, making sure everyone was comfortable with the walking between sites. We were fortunate to have Catherine R. as our guide, and she was absolutely wonderful. She took us to every place on our must-see list, and we were able to check off everything we had hoped to experience. Her knowledge of London was incredible, and she brought the city’s history to life with fascinating stories. She also made the tour especially memorable for the kids by sharing fun and engaging stories that kept them interested throughout the day. If you’re looking for a personalized, stress-free way to explore London, I highly recommend Private London Tours. Their excellent communication, flexibility, and outstanding service made this one of the highlights of our trip.

An Unforgettable Morning in London with Dani ⭐
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our family had an outstanding experience with London Private Tours, and Dani was an exceptional guide from start to finish. She was warm, welcoming, incredibly knowledgeable, and went out of her way to make sure everyone in our group—including our young children—had a fantastic time. Dani’s passion for London was evident in every stop along the tour. She shared fascinating history, pointed out details we never would have noticed on our own, and tailored the experience to our interests and pace. She was patient, accommodating, and made the entire morning feel effortless and enjoyable. Without question, our tour with Dani was one of the highlights of our time in London. She didn’t just show us the city—she helped us experience it in a way we’ll always remember. We can’t recommend London Private Tours highly enough, and if you’re lucky enough to have Dani as your guide, you’re in for a truly memorable day.

An amazing firs visit experience
I had an amazing experience with Private London Tours. It was my first time visiting both London and Paris, and with only five days to explore, we wanted to make the most of every moment. From the planning stage with Gio—who gave us excellent advice on what to see and where to go—to the actual tours led by Joanna and Laurent, the entire experience was elevated, seamless, and highly professional. Their knowledge and expertise were evident throughout, but what made the experience even more special was their warmth and personality. Spending time with them felt less like being on a tour and more like being shown around by people we’d known for years. I would absolutely use Private London Tours again and would highly recommend them to anyone visiting the destinations where they operate.

10/10 - Must do tour!
10/10 - Communication from Gio was very quick even with the time difference from the US. Super easy to book and adjust our tour needs. We were a family of 5 with kids ages 8, 8, 10. Our guide was Catherine and she did such an amazing job entertaining the kids while still keeping everything educational. We even did a little impromptu skit where we all acted out different members of parliament helping the kids learn in such a fun way. Would absolutely recommend Private London Tours with Gio and Catherine again.

Why this scores 62
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Guided and Chauffeured Tour of London: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for London.
How much does Private Guided and Chauffeured Tour of London cost?
+
Prices start at $237 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in London usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Guided and Chauffeured Tour of London take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in London is not rushed.
Is Private Guided and Chauffeured Tour of London worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 88 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in London, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Guided and Chauffeured Tour of London?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Private Guided and Chauffeured Tour of London suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 4-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Private Guided and Chauffeured Tour of London?
+
Around 31 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in London can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in London and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Guided and Chauffeured Tour of London start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central London within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in London?
+
London's best attractions split cleanly: the museums are free and need no booking, so the paid market is about views, theatre and getting out of the city for a day. That makes value scoring unusually important here, and the Outty Ranking penalises anything charging premium prices for access you could get for nothing. On Outty we rank every London experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Soho Music & Historic Pubs Tour, London Small Group Tour of Historical Pubs, The Great British Rock and Roll Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit London?
+
May to September for long evenings, December for the Christmas markets. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in London?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
