Not as advertised
I booked a private glass bottom boat tour. When I arrived there were 6 other people scheduled on the boat and it was not glass bottom. If you want the clear boat experience go with Envatours.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback. We sincerely apologize that the experience did not match what was advertised and that the boat was not what you expected. We understand your disappointment, especially after booking a private glass bottom boat experience. We have issued you a full refund for this booking, and your comments will be shared with the local operator to prevent this from happening again. — Boat Trips Club Team

First Trip to Cabo — Private Boat Tour Gone Wrong
My travel companion and I were visiting Cabo San Lucas for the first time and wanted to experience El Arco and Lover's Beach via a private glass-bottom boat tour. We booked through Viator specifically to avoid the hassle of negotiating at the marina and to ensure a quality, vetted experience. We have used Viator for years across multiple countries and have always had positive experiences with their operators — until now. We booked a private tour with Gregory Tours departing at 9:00 AM on June 12. We arrived at 9:03 AM to check in and were told to wait. At 9:10 AM someone appeared and informed us our private reserved boat had been given away because we were "late." Three minutes late. On a private tour. I am a reasonable person — if we had been 15 minutes late I would understand. But arriving at 9:03 for a private reservation and losing the boat at 9:10 is simply not acceptable. Viator issued a full refund, which we appreciated, but no refund replaces the experience we came for. I would strongly advise avoiding Gregory Tours. More importantly, I hope Viator reviews this operator — one bad operator can undermine the trust travelers place in their entire vetting process.
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We sincerely apologize for the disappointment and frustration caused on what should have been an exciting part of your first visit to Cabo San Lucas. Based on our records, the boat had already departed when you arrived for check-in. While we understand your perspective regarding the timing, our departures must operate on schedule to avoid delays and disruptions. We appreciate that Viator was able to assist with a full refund, but we understand that this does not replace the experience you were hoping to enjoy. We value your feedback and regret that your first impression did not reflect the standard of service we strive to provide. We wish you all the best on your future travels. — Boat Trips Club Team

Response from the operator: Thank you for your review! We’re thrilled to hear that you had a great time on the tour and enjoyed the amazing views of the Arch. El Arco is one of Cabo’s most iconic landmarks, and we’re delighted that you were able to experience its beauty up close. Thank you for choosing us for your adventure, and we hope to welcome you back soon for another unforgettable day on the water! — Boat Trips Club Team

Why this scores 56

Private Glass Bottom Boat Tour to El Arco and Lover's Beach: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cabo San Lucas.
How much does Private Glass Bottom Boat Tour to El Arco and Lover's Beach cost?
+
Prices start at $199 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cabo San Lucas usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Glass Bottom Boat Tour to El Arco and Lover's Beach take?
+
Plan for about 2.8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cabo San Lucas is not rushed.
Is Private Glass Bottom Boat Tour to El Arco and Lover's Beach worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 16 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cabo San Lucas, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Glass Bottom Boat Tour to El Arco and Lover's Beach?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Glass Bottom Boat Tour to El Arco and Lover's Beach suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Glass Bottom Boat Tour to El Arco and Lover's Beach?
+
Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cabo San Lucas can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cabo San Lucas and add a light layer if any part of the 2.8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Glass Bottom Boat Tour to El Arco and Lover's Beach start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cabo San Lucas within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cabo San Lucas?
+
On Outty we rank every Cabo San Lucas experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cabo Desert Off-Road & Beach Horseback Combo and Tequila Tasting, Humpback Whale Watching Tour in Cabo San Lucas, Cabo All-Inclusive Private Beach Club with Open Bar and Buffet. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cabo San Lucas?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cabo San Lucas?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
