Private Half-Day Fishing Charter in Cabo San Lucas

BAIT-AND-SWITCH EXPERIENCE- BOAT BREAKING DOWN FOR APPROX 1 HOUR

DO NOT BOOK THIS CHARTER – BAIT-AND-SWITCH EXPERIENCE This was easily one of the worst charter experiences we have had. The night before the scheduled fishing trip for my son and his friend, the charter company sent us a WhatsApp photo of the boat they actually planned to use. The boat appeared to be a significant downgrade from the boats pictured and advertised on the Viator booking page. When I questioned the difference, I was told that if we wanted a boat comparable to what was represented on Viator, we would have to pay an additional $90 IN CASH at the dock before boarding. This was completely unacceptable. We booked and paid for this charter based, in part, on the boats represented in the listing. Then, at the last minute, we were told we needed to pay additional money to receive something closer to what we believed we had already booked. Because this happened the night before the trip, we felt we had little choice. Rather than cancel and disappoint my son and his friend, who had been looking forward to the fishing trip, we reluctantly agreed to pay the additional $90. What makes this even worse is that the boat we received after paying the additional $90 still was not representative of the boats shown on the Viator listing. So, we paid extra and still did not receive what we reasonably expected based on the advertising. Unfortunately, the problems did not end there. During the charter, the boat broke down for approximately an hour. My son and his friend were left sitting on the water while the crew worked to get the engine running again. After losing approximately an hour of a paid fishing charter because of a mechanical problem with the boat, you would reasonably expect the company to extend the trip or offer some form of refund or compensation for the lost time. Neither happened. Between the last-minute boat downgrade, the demand for an additional $90 cash payment, receiving a boat that still did not match what was advertised, and then losing approximately an hour of the charter because the boat broke down, this was an extremely disappointing experience. Based on our experience, I strongly recommend booking with another charter company.

Regarding the mechanical issue, we acknowledge that the boat experienced a temporary problem during the trip. Our crew addressed the situation, and fishing resumed within approximately 15–20 minutes. Your group was able to continue and complete the scheduled charter. We also understand your disappointment with the fishing results. Fishing is an outdoor activity influenced by natural factors such as weather, water conditions, and fish behavior. Although our crew always makes every effort to provide an enjoyable experience and the best possible fishing opportunities, catching fish cannot be guaranteed. Nevertheless, we value our customers and take their feedback seriously. As a gesture of goodwill and in consideration of the inconvenience experienced during your trip, we have decided to issue a 50% refund of the amount paid online at the time of booking. We hope this gesture demonstrates our commitment to customer satisfaction, even when an experience does not turn out as expected. Fishing in Cabo

Fishing in Cabo was so much fun! We paid online for the experience and also for the fishing licenses and live bait, both of which can be purchased at the marina that day. We arrived around 0600 and were on the water until 1130. Our captain, Aaron was amazing. He was very friendly and very knowledgeable. It was nice to learn about all the hidden gems of Cabo from someone who works the water everyday. Although we only caught one fish, it was very enjoyable being out on the ocean. Don't forget to take some dramamene if you get sea sick! We also got to see the arch and some other cool areas too, great value of you don't want to pay for the glass boat tours.

Great Marlin Adventure

This guys are amazing at what they do. We started slow but almost got 3 Marlins. They were persistent in helping us get one and in the end, we did. Great experience with Azreal and his crew (Luis, Rene and Martin) Will be looking you up for our next adventure when we come back to Cabo. Cheers😎

40 pound trophy mahi mahi

Aza was great he had everything I needed for the fishing trip there and ready to go . He was at the marina to greet me. Temoc the captain of the boat put me right into the mahi mahi with a 40 Pound trophy .
