An Outstanding Tour Guide and a Pleasure to be With
We just spent a very full day with Dan seeing so many of the beautiful and interesting sights of Bucharest. Dan is a wealth of knowledge and told us so much about what we were seeing along with relevant history. He presented information in way that was a pleasure to listen to rather than us feeling like we were in a boring history class. He is just a great guy and a real pleasure to spend time with. If you are visiting Bucharest, I highly recommend him. You’ll thank me for it. I also recommend booking him as early as possible, since he is very popular, and justifiably so.
Response from the operator: I thank you Mike for all the nice words and for giving a chance to Romania! It never disappoints.

Great Guide, Great Experience
Dan is a personable and genuine person, very knowledgeable and an expert in his work. We booked the tour at the last minute because we thought there was a Hop On Hop Off that we could do in Bucharest, but this tour with Dan is worth every penny. We got to do a tour of the parliament, which we understood that we had to call to book 24 hours in advance if we went by ourselves. We got to see Mogosoaia Palace, which is on the outskirts of Bucharest, a place that we wouldn't have known to go and turned out to be my favorite. Dan told us all that we wanted to know and more, which I really appreciate in a good guide.

Fantastic Guided Tour of Bucharest!
Dan was a fantastic guide. We talked history, architecture and politics all day. For an experienced traveler this was a fabulous experience. Dan even adapted the schedule to suit my last minute flight and drove me to the airport. He was a safe driver and the whole tour was spot on. Great visits to the best places in Bucharest!
Response from the operator: Thank you very much David for your 5 star review! I do hope you will have the chance to come back for exploring also the rest of the country. Don't hesitate to contact me! Please be safe in your journey to Cernauti, UA. God bless!

The best Full day tour of Bucharest
Dan was the best guide we have ever had and we have had many in our lives. He was kind and easy to relate to and very knowledgeable about his country. He was able to adapt the full day tour to what we like. All I had to do was say I was interested in the Romanian churches and he introduced us to the best of the best He gave us the best day and even left us with tips for our next day. One being how to get inside the Romanian Anthenaeum and it was the highlight of the trip and you see in the picture. Also he told us we would like St Gregory’s church and it was also a highlight. Thank you Dan 10 thumbs up👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Response from the operator: Hi! Thank you so much for your kind words! It mean a lot to me. I am glad I made a difference for your city tour; you brighten up my day with this review. :) Keep in touch! All the best!

Why this scores 61
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Full Day Tour of Bucharest: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Bucharest.
How much does Private Full Day Tour of Bucharest cost?
+
Prices start at $128 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Bucharest usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Full Day Tour of Bucharest take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Bucharest is not rushed.
Is Private Full Day Tour of Bucharest worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Bucharest, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Full Day Tour of Bucharest?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Full Day Tour of Bucharest suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Full Day Tour of Bucharest?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Bucharest can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Bucharest and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Full Day Tour of Bucharest start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Bucharest within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Bucharest?
+
On Outty we rank every Bucharest experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Real tour of Communism, Bucharest Highlights Walking Tour, Top Gear Road, Small-group max 7 pax with Pick-up, Transfăgărăşan. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Bucharest?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Bucharest?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
