Great guide, friendly and very competent!
We did these visits and activities among others, during a week with German, and honestly, it was fantastic! This part of the tour (Chichen Itza) was particularly striking and very impressive. Even though the schedule and responsiveness of German always allowed us to avoid the crowds, he always had the expertise to provide us with a more personalized and authentic experience even in very busy places. Valladolid was very interesting to visit thanks to his advice and regarding the cenote... I wouldn't want to spoil it for you, but it would really be a shame to miss this! I could go on about it, but in summary: you can book with him without hesitation, you will not regret it.
Response from the operator: Merci beaucoup pour ce superbe message !

An unforgettable experience with Mata!
Our private tour of Chichén Itzá was the absolute highlight of our trip to Mexico. Mata is an outstanding local guide—incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, and passionate. We especially loved his hand gesture (🤙) to visualize the map of Mexico! Following the ruins, visiting the cenote was a magical and refreshing escape. Mata’s storytelling and perfect pacing made the entire day feel seamless and authentic. If you want a personalized and deeply insightful tour, we cannot recommend Mata enough. Thank you Mata for a truly wonderful day!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much Hind!! My special hand - Mexico sign is one of my secret tools hahah... It really means a lot to hear this was the best of your trip. I am very glad you enjoyed the way we explored Chichén Itzá, we know the place inside out so it makes it easier to show you everything! Creating a day that feels smooth, personal, and meaningful is always the goal. It was a pleasure spending the day with you both and sharing a bit of Mexico together. Wishing you many more great adventures ahead and you are always welcome back anytime.

Great guided tour to chichen itza
Amazing experience with German in chichen itza, cenote and Valladolid. Super relaxed day, very good explanations about pre-Colombian culture and the local!

Highlight of our trip!
We took two tours with German, and they were truly the highlights of our trip. He was incredible with our kids—patient, flexible and genuinely awesome. German will forever be part of our family’s travel memories! His passion for nature and the lessons he taught us about the seemingly little things have already made a lasting impression. We are grateful for the magical manatee and cave cenote tour (including when German helped our son find a way to participate even though he was nervous so he wouldn’t miss out on the magic), as well as the opportunity to learn so much about Mayan history during our visit to Chichén Itzá. Thank you German! We hope our paths cross again!
Response from the operator: It truly means a lot to read this, really... Spending those days with your family was something special for me as well. Helping the kids connect with nature, ask questions, and enjoy every moment is exactly why I love doing this. Sharing both the quiet magic of the manatees and the history of Chichén Itzá with you all was a real pleasure. It’s always more than just a tour for me, and families like yours make it even more meaningful. I hope our paths cross again too, there’s still plenty more to explore. Warm regards, German

Why this scores 54
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Chichen Itza Premium + Uayma+ Amazing Cenote + Valladolid: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tulum.
How much does Private Chichen Itza Premium + Uayma+ Amazing Cenote + Valladolid cost?
+
Prices start at $250 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tulum usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Chichen Itza Premium + Uayma+ Amazing Cenote + Valladolid take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tulum is not rushed.
Is Private Chichen Itza Premium + Uayma+ Amazing Cenote + Valladolid worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 54 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Tulum, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Chichen Itza Premium + Uayma+ Amazing Cenote + Valladolid?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Chichen Itza Premium + Uayma+ Amazing Cenote + Valladolid suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 4. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 8-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Private Chichen Itza Premium + Uayma+ Amazing Cenote + Valladolid?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tulum can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tulum and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Chichen Itza Premium + Uayma+ Amazing Cenote + Valladolid start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tulum within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Tulum?
+
On Outty we rank every Tulum experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Tulum Ruins, Turtles in Akumal and Cenote tour, Tulum Guided Tour, Magical Cenote, Lagoon Snorkeling and Beachside Lunch, Chichén Itzá, Cenote and Valladolid with Lunch and transportation. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Tulum?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Tulum?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
