30 years of expertise: incredible Amboseli National Park Safari with Peter
+If you are visiting Amboseli, Peter is the perfect tour guide. +Peter had great pre-tour communication, responsible to our questions about M-Pesa, timing, and transportation. +He has over 30 years of experience and deep knowledge of the local flora and fauna, answering every question we asked. +He is well-known and respected as a senior guide among the other tour operators. +The Jeep was clean, safe, and in great condition. Peter is an excellent driver who managed to navigate and guide at the same time. +We stopped for a quick breakfast at the local shops. As a tip, trinkets are cheaper at larger markets, so do not feel pressured to buy them here. +We saw elephants, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, monkeys, hippos, and flamingos in their natural habitats. He shared so many animal names and facts we could not keep track of them all. +Understanding that wildlife operates on its own schedule, Peter was patient. We stayed in the vehicle but Peter was able to get very close to the animals without spooking them. +We saw the peak of Mount Kilimanjaro, and he even took a detour to keep power lines out of our photos.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for taking the time to share your fantastic review of your Amboseli tour with our guide Peter. We're thrilled to hear how much you enjoyed the majestic elephants, stunning landscapes, and Peter's expert insights—it truly made our day! Your kind words mean the world to us at Wasili Kenya Safaris and motivate our team to keep delivering unforgettable experiences. We can't wait to welcome you back for more wildlife wonders. We wish you all the best in your efforts.

Fun day in Amboseli
Excellent day trip safari in Amboseli from Nairobi. Peter was my guide/driver. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. He made the whole experience safe and enjoyable. I saw large herd of animals, especially elephants and zebras. Highly recommended!

Fantastic tour of Amboseli NP
We did a 4.30am pick-up in Nairobi and headed to Amboseli National Park. Absolutely terrific day - guide Peter drove safely, was funny, very knowledgeable, answered every question we had and got us back to Nairobi Airport that night. Great wildlife too - plenty of elephants, hippos and some Gerenuk (which I'd never seen before). Great lunch too. Everything just went easily, 10/10.
Response from the operator: Hi Michael, Thank you so much for the great review. We are so grateful you experienced our services in the hands of Peter and couldn't fault any. We say thank you very much for having chosen to travel with Wasili Kenya safaris and we happily welcome you back and any of your friends whom you may refer to us, and promise our best personalized attention ever! Thanks again and wish you the best in all your endeavors.

Private Amboseli day Tour in 4x4 Landcruiser: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Nairobi.
How much does Private Amboseli day Tour in 4x4 Landcruiser cost?
+
Prices start at $2 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Nairobi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Amboseli day Tour in 4x4 Landcruiser take?
+
Plan for about 13 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Nairobi is not rushed.
Is Private Amboseli day Tour in 4x4 Landcruiser worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Nairobi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Amboseli day Tour in 4x4 Landcruiser?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Amboseli day Tour in 4x4 Landcruiser suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 13-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Amboseli day Tour in 4x4 Landcruiser?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Nairobi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Nairobi and add a light layer if any part of the 13-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Amboseli day Tour in 4x4 Landcruiser start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Nairobi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Nairobi?
+
On Outty we rank every Nairobi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 3 days group joining safari to Maasai Mara with a Land Cruiser Jeep, Private Tour in Kibera the Largest Slum, Small Group Budget Tour to Hells Gate National Park and Lake Naivasha Boat Ride. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Nairobi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Nairobi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
