Perfectly tailor made Safari experience and service!
Excellent service from the start to finish. Julian our tour operator went out of his way to make sure we received the best possible trip and Erick our driver guide we’re both friendly and professional throughout. Erick’s passion for wildlife and ability to spot animals was amazing ! We would happily use Kojuu Safaris again and would definitely recommend them to others!

Multi aged family on five day safari. Outstanding!
Her Safari trip consisted of myself my husband, are 11 year-old and my mid 70s mother-in-law. We all had a fantastic adventure. We saw all the fire and we owe that to our amazing guide Peter. His knowledge of the animals, their environment and habits allowed him to lead us to all of the big five. At the end of our Safari, we felt like Peter was a family member. We opted for the luxury package and those accommodations met that standard. The vehicle we Safari in was well equipped with a refrigerator Wi-Fi and all the plugs. Any person would like to stay connected to the outside world.. Pretty much to post amazing pictures of animals and make everybody jealous. Lol. We regularly travel and found this was the most well organized Tripp we have ever been on. Kojuu Safari is top notch, and if I could give more than five stars, I would.

Perfect Safari experience- wouldn’t change a thing!
We had the most amazing experience with Kojuu Safari! This was our first time in Africa, so we didn’t really know what to expect. Edson was our safari consultant, and he took care of us from before we even booked the trip. He worked with us on creating multiple itineraries to fit our budget and make sure we saw and did everything we wanted. He checked in consistently while we were on the safari to make sure everything was going well, and he continued to help us for the 3 days we added on at the end to visit Zanzibar. we had a small issue with our meal plan at our hotel in Zanzibar, but Edson quickly called them and resolved it. As for our safari guide, we loved Emanuel! He was so knowledgeable and worked so hard to make sure we had the best experience. We saw all of the “Big Five” thanks to him! We also really enjoyed getting to know him throughout the week we spent with him. While in Tanzania, we learned that along of foreign companies own the safari companies and lodges. We were so happy to learn the Kojuu is owned by a Tanzanian woman. Would love to go on another Kojuu Safari and will recommend them to everyone we know!

A Truly Special Safari Experience
Kojuu provided a unique, special and personalized safari experience. Every exact detail was carefully planned and explained by Gloria, who masterfully orchestrated every move. Aaron provided expert guiding services where all of the Big Five animals were observed, as well as most or all of the Ugly Five species as well! He also was insightful in explaining African cultural norms and history along the way. We especially enjoyed our stay at the luxurious Four Seasons resort in Serengeti. I highly recommend Kojuu for all of your safari needs. Trust me, Madam Judy and her staff will take great care of you along the way.

Why this scores 69
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private 5-Days Serengeti Trails with Kojuu Safaris: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Moshi.
How much does Private 5-Days Serengeti Trails with Kojuu Safaris cost?
+
Prices start at $2,000 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Moshi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private 5-Days Serengeti Trails with Kojuu Safaris take?
+
Plan for about 120 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Moshi is not rushed.
Is Private 5-Days Serengeti Trails with Kojuu Safaris worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 10 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Moshi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private 5-Days Serengeti Trails with Kojuu Safaris?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private 5-Days Serengeti Trails with Kojuu Safaris suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 120-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private 5-Days Serengeti Trails with Kojuu Safaris?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Moshi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Moshi and add a light layer if any part of the 120-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private 5-Days Serengeti Trails with Kojuu Safaris start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Moshi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Moshi?
+
On Outty we rank every Moshi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Materuni Waterfall, Coffee Tour and Picnic Hot Lunch, Materuni Waterfall and Coffee Plantation Half Day Tour, Kilimanjaro climb, Machame Route (7-day). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Moshi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Moshi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
