- Trekking to Poon Hill from Pokhara can be performed throughout the year. We do not suggest to trek in monsoon season. Mountain are not clearly visible on this season. Walking on the trials is also very difficult at this time. But if you are experienced enough to walk at hilly regions during rain you can choose this trek on monsoon also.

Great trip!
This was my first time to Nepal and first time trekking. I had an amazing time! Jiban coordinated everything perfectly and he kept me updated along the way. My guide Bishow was fantastic! He had the best spots picked out for lodging and food. He was very knowledgeable about the trek and went at my pace. I highly recommended booking with them! -Hillary

unexpected wonderful trip
The guides are professional, nice and caring so they make me feel safe and determined during trekking. When I was the last person in the team, there always was a guide companying me and paying attention to my physical situation and me attitude. They encouraged me and helped with my difficulties. The guides gave us a briefing every night during trekking, meanwhile, they answered our questions with patience and smile. It made me feel more control of next day's trekking. The scenery of the whole way is purely beautiful. It freed me of pressure of life. The whole trip is well-planed and fruitful. We spent four days in the mountains and we experienced paragliding and cultural exploring. I love this trip. SAY THANKS AGAIN!

Wonderful experience!
The trekking route of Poonhill is in fact quite challenging for beginners. Thankfully, our professional guide team has made it possible for us. Their patience, kindness and caring heart left me a really good impression of Nepal, given that it is my very first time visiting this country. The sunrise view is something you definitely don’t want to miss if you are planning a trekking trip!

POON hill trekking
I went for the POON Hill Trekking which is rather easier just to experience what trekking is and the ciltures in Nepal. This route is shortr, but enough to push your limits and train yourself, suitable for beginners and those who have little confidence in themselves. After the trekking, I experienced paragliding in Pokhara, my first time to try extreme sports. Though sounds terrifying, views high above made me calm down and totally enjoy the process. You will never wanna lose the chance! Highly recommend to try this route if you are not an expert in trekking. Besides, good memories and wonderful experiences are all thanks to Jiban, Tony etc. Their patience and kind heart moved my teammates and me, hereby wish them the best. Hope to see all you guys again!!!!

Why this scores 70
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Poon Hill Trek - 04 Days: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Pokhara.
How much does Poon Hill Trek - 04 Days cost?
+
Prices start at $400 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Pokhara usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Poon Hill Trek - 04 Days take?
+
Plan for about 96 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Pokhara is not rushed.
Is Poon Hill Trek - 04 Days worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Pokhara, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Poon Hill Trek - 04 Days?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Poon Hill Trek - 04 Days suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 96-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Poon Hill Trek - 04 Days?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Pokhara can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Pokhara and add a light layer if any part of the 96-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Poon Hill Trek - 04 Days start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Pokhara within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Pokhara?
+
On Outty we rank every Pokhara experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Ghorepani - Poon Hill Trek 3N-4D, Annapurna Base Camp Trek -8 days, Annapurna Base Camp Treks. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Pokhara?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Pokhara?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
