Poon hill trek review
Had the best 4 day trek, beautiful weather and views. My guide Umesh was amazing, patient but encouraging. Had fruit for the day for me and picked me berries along the path for me to try. Was very attentive on the evenings and we played card games together as well as having solo time. The company owner was very responsive and helpful and met me to discuss details and even booked buses from ktm to Pokhara for me. Would recommend as very reasonably priced and positive experience! Thank you both :)

5 Days Ghorapani Poon Hill Trekking 🗻
I have booked the trip in last min and managed to have a private tour guide for 5 days Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek. The price was competitive and it is personalised to my time and preference. As a beginner with no prior trek training, it was not possible to make it without the help of my tour guide - Surpa. He is caring and supportive along the 5 days trek. I managed to view the beautiful Annapurna range from Poon Hill and it is definitely a once in a lifetime experience for me. Thank you for all the arrangement and accommodations. Would definitely recommend Surpa and Himalayan Trip to all!!!

Highly Recommend! Professional and Reliable Trekking Company
As travelers from Taiwan, we were deeply impressed by the high level of service provided by this company. Our guide's expertise made the challenging trek feel smooth and manageable. He was very attentive to our needs and pace. The porters were also amazing—efficient, kind, and always there to help. Their hard work made our journey much more comfortable. Everything was well-organized, and the hospitality was top-notch. We are so glad we chose them for our Nepal adventure. Definitely a 5-star experience!

Amazing and unforgettable 4D3N Poon Hill Trek
I finished 4-day-3-night Poon Hill Trek with my aunt who is an experienced hiker. While I am the beginner, both of us received good guidance and company from our guide, Sandeep and porter, Mani. We were always companied by one of them, safety being ensured all the time. The trek was overall not too challenging but could be tough for those without hiking experience hiking for consecutive four days. Over the 4 days, we stayed in 3 nice hotels with fabulous views. Though it was sometimes cloudy after rains, we still managed to see the snow mountains from our rooms. And when we reached Poon Hill, the view was breath-taking and absolutely worth it!

Why this scores 71
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Poon Hill Trek: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Pokhara.
How much does Poon Hill Trek cost?
+
Prices start at $385 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Pokhara usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Poon Hill Trek take?
+
Plan for about 96 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Pokhara is not rushed.
Is Poon Hill Trek worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 71 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Pokhara, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Poon Hill Trek?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Poon Hill Trek suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 96-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Poon Hill Trek?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Pokhara can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Pokhara and add a light layer if any part of the 96-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Poon Hill Trek start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Pokhara within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Pokhara?
+
On Outty we rank every Pokhara experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Ghorepani - Poon Hill Trek 3N-4D, Annapurna Base Camp Trek -8 days, Annapurna Base Camp Treks. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Pokhara?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Pokhara?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
