5 Stars
From beginning to end, our trek with Trekking Planner was absolutely perfect. We were able to organise our own bespoke trek directly with Dipak, who was incredibly accommodating and flexible with all of our requirements, including our preferred dates and budget. The whole process was straightforward, well organised and stress-free, which gave us complete confidence before we had even set off. A special thanks has to go to Binod, who was our guide for the entire trip. We genuinely could not have asked for a better guide. From the moment we met him, he was incredibly friendly, welcoming and professional, and he played a huge part in making the trip such a memorable experience. Binod was amazing and incredibly informative throughout the trek. Whether it was explaining the history and culture of the Annapurna Circuit and surrounding areas we were travelling through, pointing out different mountains and landmarks, or helping us understand the local way of life, he always had an answer and was happy to share his knowledge. He also knew the route extremely well and made sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves at every stage of the journey. What really stood out, however, was how much more than just a guide Binod was. He was great company throughout the entire trip, always positive and good-humoured, and he went out of his way to make sure we had the best possible experience. He was incredibly attentive to what we needed, and we always felt that we were in very safe hands. And, as if being an excellent guide wasn’t enough, Binod also has a hidden talent for guitar! Some of the evenings spent relaxing after a long day of trekking were made even better when he picked up the guitar and played. It was a brilliant and unexpected addition to the trip and really added to the atmosphere. We are extremely grateful to Binod, Dipak and the whole Trekking Planner team for making our trek such an unforgettable experience. We will definitely be using Trekking Planner again for our next adventure in Nepal.

Trekking the Annapurna Circuit (August-September 2026)
My friend and I have completed the Annapurna Circuit Trek, successfully reaching Tilicho Lake and Thurong La Pass. This was my first time in Nepal, and my first time in Asia, and it was honestly one of the most amazing experiences of my life so far. The experience would not have been possible without our guide, Binod. From day one, Binod made it clear that we would be family throughout the trek, making it clear to us that our safety was the number one priority. He taught us how to best handle high altitude by taking it slowly, regularly hydrating and getting lots of rest. When we approached slightly more sketchy areas of the route, such as the landslide areas up to Tilicho Lake, he took the lead and guided us safely to the top. As well as ensuring our safety, Binod’s infectious positivity made this a trip of a lifetime. Constantly smiling, motivating us when the going got tough, and keeping us entertained at Tea Houses though a combination of singing and Nepalese card games, Binod made every day special. Throughout the trek, we pass through several mountainside towns and villages that each have their own charm and story. I loved having Binod as a guide because he was so good at teaching us about Nepalese culture, informing us about Buddhism and Hinduism, and telling us about his own experiences and how he became a guide. The way he was proud to show off Nepal added to the trek, and allowed us to take some amazing stories back to the UK. Overall, I couldn’t recommend this trek and Binod highly enough- it has been an amazing journey and we cannot wait to come back to Nepal! 🇳🇵

ABC - 8 day trek
Amazing ABC Trek Experience! I had an unforgettable experience on the Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) Trek. Special thanks to Thank You Trekking Planner, Dipak (Boss), and especially Pradeep for making this journey so enjoyable and memorable. Pradeep was incredibly helpful throughout the trek. He supported me whenever I needed assistance and always made sure everything went smoothly. Honestly, I don't think I could have completed the trek so comfortably without his help and guidance. One of the highlights of the trip was the breathtaking sunrise at Annapurna Base Camp. Thanks to Pradeep's excellent planning, we reached the perfect spot at the right time to witness the beautiful sunrise. If we had not followed his plan and schedule, we might have missed that amazing view. His experience, planning, and dedication made the entire trek much more enjoyable. I highly recommend Thank You Trekking Planner and Pradeep to anyone planning the ABC Trek. Thank you for such a wonderful and unforgettable adventure!

Annapurna Base Camp Trek -8 days: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Pokhara.
How much does Annapurna Base Camp Trek -8 days cost?
+
Prices start at $899 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Pokhara usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Annapurna Base Camp Trek -8 days take?
+
Plan for about 192 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Pokhara is not rushed.
Is Annapurna Base Camp Trek -8 days worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 88 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 88 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most highly reviewed in Pokhara, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Annapurna Base Camp Trek -8 days?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Annapurna Base Camp Trek -8 days suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 5. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 192-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Annapurna Base Camp Trek -8 days?
+
Around 31 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Pokhara can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Pokhara and add a light layer if any part of the 192-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Annapurna Base Camp Trek -8 days start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Pokhara within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Pokhara?
+
On Outty we rank every Pokhara experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Ghorepani - Poon Hill Trek 3N-4D, Annapurna Base Camp Treks, Full-Day Tibetan Cultural Tour to Tibetan Settlements Pokhara. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Pokhara?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Pokhara?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
