A healing journey
Initially went trekking to keep my mind occupied from my loved one passing. The team was very responsive to my queries and very quick to respond. I had a thousand questions prior to trek and every single one of them was answered. They did all the ground work for permits, expenses and planning. Impressed by how well planned it was without letting any unanswered questions go. My guide Pabitta was very bubbly and funny, I kept laughing and talking to her the whole trip, it made it so mememorable. My first trek and my first trekking friend. Along the way we made a couple of friends too from different backgrounds. It was definitely a great experience for me to take my mind off my trauma. Blessed by God to have met a great guide like her ❤️❤️🥹. Her expertise in many many mountains is second to none. Every monumental sites she would gladly explain and inform what's what and how trials interconnect with each other. With extensive experience in all beginner to intermediate friendly trials. I hope to have her as my guide again, because that's how good she is. If you happen to trek with her you will be leaving with your cheeks hurting from smiling and laughing too much at some point i had to massage my face because it was sore 🤣 100/10 experience. Anyone considering doing trekking first time should try the gorepani poon hill 3-Day trek. It really made me out into perspective how huge Everest really is.
Response from the operator: Dear Danish, Thank you so much for your heartfelt review. ❤️ We are deeply touched to know that your 3-day Poon Hill Trek gave you some moments of happiness, connection, and healing during such a difficult time. It was a pleasure to have you with us, and we are especially happy to hear how much you enjoyed your time with your guide. We will certainly pass your wonderful words on to her. She will be delighted to know that her energy, humor, knowledge, and companionship made your first trekking experience so memorable. 😊 We truly appreciate your trust in our team and are glad that we could take care of the permits, planning, and logistics so you could focus on enjoying the journey. Wishing you continued healing, strength, and many beautiful adventures ahead. We hope to welcome you back to Nepal someday—and perhaps have Pabitta guide you again! ❤️🏔️ Thank you once again for the wonderful 100/10 rating! 🙏 best regards Himal ghale

Truley unforgettable!!!!
Where do I start? This trip was the most special one I have ever been on. The beauty of Nepal and its people has to be experienced by any avid traveller. Our guides made the experience even more special. Their kindness, understanding, and patience will never be forgotten. Sabin was incredible. His age initially raised a question mark, but he was so composed, professional, and truly one of the best out there when it comes to guiding. I never wanted to leave. The views, the food, and the majestic forests were unforgettable. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. This experience will never be forgotten. Much love, Harry & Chara

Perfect
My boyfriend and I did the 8 day Poon Hill and ABC trek. We absolutely loved it and have memories for a lifetime. Everything was perfect, the rooms, food, amount of walking and the route was gorgeous. Our guide Pabitra and porter couldn’t have done anymore for us. They were officiant and professional but also kind and sociable. We couldn’t have asked for any more of them and I hope we stay in touch for hikes in the future. We definitely recommend this company. Thank you❤️
Response from the operator: Dear Lucy Thank you so much for sharing your experience. We’re really happy to hear you enjoyed both the Poon Hill and Annapurna Base Camp trek and that everything from the route, accommodation, food, and daily walking rhythm worked well for you. It’s especially great to know that Pabitra and the porter took good care of you throughout the journey and made your trip comfortable and memorable. We’ll definitely pass your kind words on to them—they will be very happy to hear this. It was a pleasure having you on the trail, and we truly appreciate your recommendation and trust in our team. We hope to welcome you again for another adventure in Nepal in the future ❤️ Himal ghale Nepal Wilderness trekking

Poon Hill made great with Doma and Kaji
I would sincerely like to give a very BIG thank you to Doma and Kaji Sherpa for a wonderful trek to Poon Hill. Although the trip was described as Easy (perhaps if you’ve already climbed Everest), for me it was a challenge. However Doma and Kari made everything seem easy and any little issue was solved easily. They became great friends on the trip and it was very sad to say goodbye. I could not recommend them more highly and I hope we can do another trip together in the future. Thank you Doma and Kaji. And Nepal Wilderness Trekking.
Response from the operator: Dear Gary. Thank you very much for your wonderful review and for choosing Nepal Wilderness Trekking for your Poon Hill Trek. We are very happy to hear that you enjoyed the trek with Doma and Kaji Sherpa. Even though the Poon Hill trek is considered an easy trek, we understand that it can still be challenging, and we are glad they could support you throughout the journey and make the experience comfortable and enjoyable. Your kind words about Doma and Kaji becoming great friends during the trek truly mean a lot to us. We will proudly share your appreciation with them. Creating memorable experiences and genuine connections is always our goal. Thank you once again for your recommendation and trust in our team. We also hope to welcome you back to Nepal for another adventure in the future. Best regards, Himal Ghale Managing Director Nepal Wilderness Trekking

Why this scores 73
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Poon hill Trek 3 days: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Pokhara.
How much does Poon hill Trek 3 days cost?
+
Prices start at $448 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Pokhara usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Poon hill Trek 3 days take?
+
Plan for about 15 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Pokhara is not rushed.
Is Poon hill Trek 3 days worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 73 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 190 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Pokhara, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Poon hill Trek 3 days?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Poon hill Trek 3 days suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 15-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Poon hill Trek 3 days?
+
Around 67 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Pokhara can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Pokhara and add a light layer if any part of the 15-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Poon hill Trek 3 days start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Pokhara within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Pokhara?
+
On Outty we rank every Pokhara experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Ghorepani - Poon Hill Trek 3N-4D, Annapurna Base Camp Trek -8 days, Annapurna Base Camp Treks. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Pokhara?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Pokhara?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
