    Simply amazing day..

We had a great time here after being amazed by Pompeii. It’s a beautiful, peaceful environment that perfectly complements the historical tour. heads-up for anyone : the lunch portion doesn't include the wine. But don't let that stop you! they make their own fantastic wines which you can buy on the spot. It is delicious and totally worth purchasing while you relax in the vineyard!

Response from the operator: Dear Michael, thank you for sharing your experience. We are happy that the peaceful environment of our estate perfectly complemented your historical immersion in Pompeii. We really appreciate your note about the wine! See you soon.

Thanks to Vivianne, Claudia and Gabriele!

Couldn’t recommend this experience enough, it’s such a great blending of history and fun. Delicious food and great staff Claudia and Gabriele were amazing! We bought some wines because we got some while having lunch and we couldn’t resist! Great experience!

Response from the operator: We are thrilled to read that you enjoyed the great blending of history, fun, and good food. We hope the wines you brought home will bring back fond memories of this day every time you open a bottle. Until next time!

This experience has been one of the best during my trip to Pompei!

This experience has been one of the best during my trip to Pompei! I met my guide in Pompei, Vivianne and she was the best! it was very hot but she took care of all of us finding spots in the shade. Very professional and knowledgable, would do that again! Then we were driven (about 15 minutes ride in a comfortable van) to Quirinoli winery and the views were incomparable.. food was amazing, parmigiana was the best I've ever tied, sauce was so sweet! We ordered some wines (they produced their own wines) we had a Falanghina and also a bottle of red wine (Cennere). They were perfectly matched with the food and it made everything perfect! Would recommend over and over! Gracia!

Response from the operator: Thank you for your incredibly kind words! Our guides and staff work passionately every day to ensure our guests feel like part of the family while exploring this beautiful region. I will be sure to share your compliments with the entire team. We can't wait to host you again!

Is Pompeii & Classic Italian Lunch on Mt. Vesuvius worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Pompeii, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Pompeii & Classic Italian Lunch on Mt. Vesuvius?

Is Pompeii & Classic Italian Lunch on Mt. Vesuvius suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Pompeii & Classic Italian Lunch on Mt. Vesuvius?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Pompeii can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Pompeii and add a light layer if any part of the 5.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

    +

What are the best things to do in Pompeii?

    +

On Outty we rank every Pompeii experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Premium Minivan Trip from Rome: Pompeii Tour & Lunch in Sorrento, Skip the Line Guided Tour of Pompeii Led by an Archaeologist, Explore Pompeii with an Archaeologist. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Pompeii?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Pompeii?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
