Skip the lines with priority access and enter Pompeii from its main gate, Porta Marina Superiore. During a 2-hour guided tour, walk through streets, houses and public buildings while uncovering the daily life of an ancient Roman city frozen in time. After a lunch break, we continue to the National Archaeological Museum of Naples for an insider’s visit to one of the most important museums in the world. Here you’ll admire frescoes, mosaics, statues, medical instruments and everyday objects recovered from Pompeii, Herculaneum and other Vesuvian sites. Discover the famous Vesuvian Collection and the extraordinary Farnese Collection through stories, insights and curiosities that bring the ancient world vividly to life. Note: Museum closed on Tuesdays.

Visiting Pompeii with a real archaeologist is not only a privilege, but also a must! Raffaele is super passionate and incredibly well informed about the site itself. He knows the areas that are the best, most beautiful and recently opened, and leads you directly there, all the while providing insightful bits of backstory—in this way, we made the most of our visit and learned so much! We saw other people wandering around aimlessly, not knowing where to go...such a waste of time and energy in this gorgeous locale. Friendly, relaxed and humorous, Raffaele was everything you could hope for in a guide. Don't miss this opportunity to see Pompeii through his eyes!
