Beautiful, quiet trek away from the season with encounter and warmth
I was with the end of February for 5 days on the Pikey Peak Trek rather in the east of the country. Since it wasn’t yet a season, I was the only participant and was traveling alone with guide and porter. The trek led through beautiful scenery and was little visited, making it calm and relaxed. In the selected tea houses to stay I felt comfortable and I met a lot of warmth. My guide took a lot of time and we exchanged ideas, I learned and learned a lot from him and he also enriched the hike for me humanly and culturally. Unfortunately, I got altitude sick on the way and so I couldn’t quite get out to the top, which did little to diminish my experience of nature. People, nature, walks were outstanding - the agency accommodating, friendly and the staff helpful, open and welcoming. A completely successful experience for which I am grateful. Can only recommend!

Our best recommendations for Breeze!
Travelled with my husband on Pikey Peak Trek with Breeze in mid october 2025. It was a great experience with the very best guidance from Kishwor at the Breeze office and accompanied by our wonderful guide Sabine who really helped us feel comfortable during the trek. We made som changes during our trek but it was never a problem and everything was solved quickly to our satisfaction. Our highest recommendations for Breeze!

Pikey Peak Trek - really nice
We did the Pikey Peak Trek in Nepal and had a really nice experience. The trek itself was beautiful – very peaceful and calm since we didn’t meet any other tourists along the way. The nature is stunning, and it felt like we had the mountains to ourselves. Our guide and porter were great. They listened to our wishes, were very flexible (we even added another peak to our trek!), and made the trip so much fun. We had a really good time together dancing and playing board games in the lodges. They always made sure we felt safe and comfortable – even during a time of local unrest. Kiswor was also really helpful and took excellent care of us throughout the journey. Overall everything was well organized and we felt supported at all times. Thank you, Kaja x 2

Awesome experience with Himalayan peaks view
This trek was perfect! I was looking for something not too long and not too short, it was about 5-6 days in total. In the peak at 4066m, you will see magnificent view of all the Himalayan peaks! You'll stay in tea house which are comfortable. Breeze adventure provided a awesome guide and did a fun-filled adventurous trip for us. Thank you :)

Pikey Peak Trek: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.
How much does Pikey Peak Trek cost?
+
Prices start at $899 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Pikey Peak Trek take?
+
Plan for about 168 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.
Is Pikey Peak Trek worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Pikey Peak Trek?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Pikey Peak Trek suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 168-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Pikey Peak Trek?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 168-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Pikey Peak Trek start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?
+
On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Kathmandu Sightseeing | UNESCO World Heritage sites Private/Group, Manaslu Circuit Trek, Manaslu Circuit Trek: Private Group & Discounte Price. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kathmandu?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
What is included in Pikey Peak Trek?
+
Included: On-board WiFi; Lunch; Dinner; and Breakfast. Not included: Surcharges on fuel. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.
Where is the meeting point for Pikey Peak Trek?
+
Once you Cross Ga Hiti, You will see our company board and you will find our team with Company logo T-shirt. Hotel pickup is not included, so plan your own transport and arrive 15 minutes early.
What languages is Pikey Peak Trek offered in?
+
It is offered in Hindi, German, Korean, Japanese, English, Chinese, Italian, French and Spanish. Pick your language when choosing a date and time, as not every departure runs in every language.
Will I get instant confirmation and a mobile ticket for Pikey Peak Trek?
+
Confirmation is sent by the operator after booking, usually within 48 hours; if it is not confirmed you are not charged. Mobile tickets are accepted, so you can show the voucher on your phone.
Is Pikey Peak Trek wheelchair or stroller accessible?
+
The operator notes: Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller. If accessibility is critical, contact the operator after booking to confirm arrangements for your date.
What happens to Pikey Peak Trek if the weather is bad?
+
It generally runs rain or shine, so dress for the forecast in Kathmandu. Standard cancellation terms apply: free cancellation up to 24 hours before the start.
What do travelers say about Pikey Peak Trek?
+
Across 9 reviews averaging 5.0 out of 5, recurring themes include the guide, photo opportunities, organization. Travelers single out the guide as the reason the experience works. One thing to know: Expect real walking or climbing: reviewers mention the effort involved.
