Journey in comfort on-board a covered, heated boat through the Salish Sea Aupe (Church House), Homalco First Nation's last village site. Knowledge and kindness
This tour is full of information and beauty. Janet and Elliott made sure we saw everything, and shared so much knowledge that it kept me thinking about it afterwards for days. We hung out with a whale, too. The length of the tour and the size of the group was just right, and the atmosphere was immense. I highly recommend Homalco tours.

A fabulous day out!
We had a fantastic day on the People water land tour. Everything was well thought out, comfortable and well informed. Our guides Faith and Holly did a wonderful job of explaining what we were doing and seeing, and ensuring that we had an enjoyable and informative trip. A wildlife and cultural tour with a difference.
A wonderful morning tour. An early start and coffee, fruit and breakfast snacks were provided. The boat was very substantial and comfortable and we had no safety concerns. After 20 mins or so we saw multiple sea lions on a small island and subsequently Ron spotted a whale blow followed by fins and tail. So thrilling. We went on to church town where we had a lovely walk followed by weaving, stories and a meaningful song in the local language. Very interesting and Cassie was so willing to answer qns about her heritage and life. Coffee and local smoked salmon was a nice touch. On return more whales were seen. An excellent morning. The Homalco office and small shop is next to a great fish and chip restaurant so lunch was sorted. Thank you Cassie and Ron.

Land and Water Tour
Our Land and Water Tour was absolutely amazing! From start to finish, the guides made us feel safe while giving us an unforgettable experience. I really appreciated that they always put safety first, especially when we came across a beautiful black bear. They were respectful of the wildlife and made sure we observed from a safe distance. They also took great care to keep the proper distance from the whales, putting the animals' wellbeing first. The guides were so kind and enthusiastic with my 7-year-old niece, making her feel included throughout the tour. She had the best time! We loved learning extra facts, hearing some of the Indigenous language, and the drumming for Red Dress Awareness was both beautiful and incredibly meaningful. It was a wonderful way to share and teach about its importance. The boat itself was comfortable, and my niece is so proud of the cedar bracelet she made and hasn't stopped showing it off. This was an incredible experience, and I would recommend it 100%! Thank you for such a memorable day!
