Path of the Gods hike with Zia Lucy - Simply Amazing

My wife and I, along with our 21 year old son just completed the private tour of Path of the Gods with Lucy. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. Lucy was incredibly knowledgable about the region and shared the knowledge with us throughout our adventure. She was friendly, patient and happy. I would do the hike again, given how special Lucy made us feel. The experience was more like hiking with an old friend than being on a guided tour. If you want to hike in the Amalfi Coast (and I recommend doing it if you can) I could not give a stronger recommendation than booking with Lucy. Adding the most incredible scenery made it a hike of a lifetime.

Response from the operator: Dear Roving. I have no more words to thank you for this incredible review. Hiking path of the gods is a great experience and as I already told you I never get tired of it. Hope to see you, your beautiful wife and your son again. Lucy

Excellent Experience of the Path of the Gods

My husband and I took a private guided hike arranged by Zia Lucy of the Sentiero degli Dei a couple weeks ago for just the two of us. Our guide was Luca, and I cannot say enough how much we enjoyed the day. Luca was full of information, and he let us take our time to enjoy the views and to stop to ask questions and to show us the native herbs and plants. We stopped at a kiosk for refreshments, and stopped again at a shepherd's house for some fresh made cheese, wine, and other foods -- all delicious! Additionally, when I first inquired about availability for the private guided hike and proceeded to book the outing, Lucy was able to connect me directly to the private transfer service in Positano, and all of the organizing and logistics went smoothly and without any issues whatsoever. All in all, this was one of our most favorite days spent in all our travels around the world. We started the morning as strangers, and we ended our time with Luca as friends. We will never forget this fantastic day! Thank you, Lucy, for being such a wonderful travel guide and for offering really high quality activities on the Amalfi Coast.

Path of the Gods Private Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Positano.

How much does Path of the Gods Private Tour cost?

+

Prices start at $350 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Positano usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Path of the Gods Private Tour take?

+

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Positano is not rushed.

Is Path of the Gods Private Tour worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 49 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 2 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Positano, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Path of the Gods Private Tour?

+

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Path of the Gods Private Tour suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Path of the Gods Private Tour?

+

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Positano can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Positano and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Path of the Gods Private Tour start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Positano within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Positano?

+

On Outty we rank every Positano experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cooking class with Pasta, mozzarella and Tiramisu with wine, Capri and Blue Grotto Semi Private Boat Day Trip from Sorrento, From Sorrento: Positano & Amalfi Coast Boat Tour with Pick Up. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Positano?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Positano?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
