Amazing exoerience
sunset catamaran experience! We had such an amazing time on this sunset catamaran tour! From beginning to end, the whole experience was absolutely wonderful. Captain Brent was fantastic — incredibly friendly, fun, and engaging, and he shared so many interesting facts and stories with us throughout the trip. He really made the experience even more special. The entire crew was lovely, welcoming, attentive, and made sure everyone was comfortable and having a great time. The food and aperitif were also delicious — the chicken in particular was amazing! Even though the weather was slightly cloudy and a little windy, it didn’t take anything away from the experience. Everything was perfectly organized, the atmosphere was beautiful, and we genuinely enjoyed every single moment on board. We had such a great time and came away with wonderful memories. We would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone looking for a special and memorable experience! Thank you, Captain Brent and the entire team, for making our sunset cruise so unforgettable! ❤️⛵🌅

Great sunset tour!
My wife and I took the two hour sunset cruise on the Paragon. The trip was outstanding! We had great weather and a beautiful sunset. The entire crew was very attentive and went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect.
Response from the operator: Mahalo for the kind words! We’re so glad you had such a great evening aboard Paragon. A beautiful sunset and good conditions make for a pretty special night on the water. We really appreciate you spending it with us and hope to see you back aboard again! 🌅⛵️🤙

Small and quiet :)
This was a lovely cruise. I picked it because it seemed more family friendly than some of the other options. I also liked how it was a smaller group. Happy to also support business returning to Lahaina. Great crew! Enjoyed some complimentary Maui brews and light snacks. Don’t expect dinner or narrated tour. For us, it was just what we hoped.
Response from the operator: Mahalo for sharing this! We’re glad the smaller group and laid-back feel were a good fit for your family. It also means a lot to have your support as we continue bringing people back out of Lahaina Harbor. So happy you found exactly what you were looking for and enjoyed your time with us!

Beautiful views with a knowledgeable crew
We had an incredible sunset sailing experience! The crew was outstanding—friendly, knowledgeable, and made the trip feel very personal. They shared interesting information throughout the sail while making everyone feel welcome and comfortable. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and the entire experience was unforgettable. They took exceptional care of my family and me from start to finish. Toward the end of the trip, I started feeling motion sickness, and the crew was incredibly kind and attentive. They checked on me, helped me through it, and made sure I was okay, which I truly appreciated. I highly recommend this sunset sail to anyone looking for a beautiful, relaxing, and memorable experience with a crew that genuinely cares about their guests!
Response from the operator: Mahalo for sharing such a thoughtful review! We’re so glad you and your family enjoyed the sail and felt well taken care of. We’re especially happy the crew was there to help when you weren’t feeling your best. We hope the beautiful sunset helped make up for that last part of the evening, and we’d love to have you back with us again!

Why this scores 73
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Paragon Lahaina Sunset Sail: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Maui.
How much does Paragon Lahaina Sunset Sail cost?
+
Prices start at $71 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Maui usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Paragon Lahaina Sunset Sail take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Maui is not rushed.
Is Paragon Lahaina Sunset Sail worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 73 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 30 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Maui, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Paragon Lahaina Sunset Sail?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Paragon Lahaina Sunset Sail suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Paragon Lahaina Sunset Sail?
+
Around 11 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Maui can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Maui and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Paragon Lahaina Sunset Sail start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Maui within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Maui?
+
Maui's three signature days are the Hana road, the Haleakala summit sunrise and the Molokini snorkel sail, and all three are logistics problems as much as experiences. Sunrise summit entry is permit-controlled, Hana is a ten-hour driving day, and Molokini boats vary wildly in size. Our ranking rewards operators who handle permits and keep boat capacity low. On Outty we rank every Maui experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Molokini Crater + South Maui Coast Adventure from Kihei, Maui, Maui: VIP Private Road to Hana Tour with Pick Up, Road to Hana Adventure Maui Tour with Lunch. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Maui?
+
April to May and September to October. Whale season runs December to April. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Maui?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
