    Fantastic Road to Hana Tour

We had a fantastic Road to Hana tour with Eric! He was knowledgeable about Maui’s history, punctual, and never rushed us. We had plenty of time to enjoy the views, swim, and explore. Lunch was one of the best meals we’ve had on Maui! Highly recommend Eric and this tour!

Best tour option for the Road to Hana

This was amazing and a great way to see the entire island. Eric was our guide and we were lucky to have him. Super nice guy, knowledgeable, and flexible. Gave us some many options for stops and always helped us find the best views for photos. Great way to spend the day and we would highly recommended this tour. We saw other tours and could tell we made the right choice with this company. Comfortable Mercedes van with lots of room and comfortable seats.

    Group Adventure

Tripadvisor labels this service as Private, it is not. Wailae is on the south side of the island, not west. Bryan, was informative and great conversationalist. He knew where to go and when, he is also great with children. During our Road to Hana tour, Bryan mentioned stories of the island and a man who built the first resort in Hana that still stands today. Lunch was included in the cost, we chose the Hula Pork, Beef dish and Jackfruit chili. The jackfruit chili was delicious. Ooh, before I forget, you can request a car seat. We stopped at many places on the Road to Hana, including the famous banana bread spot where the loaf is served warm. There were plenty of snacks and beverages to choose from during the ride. We stopped at Glenn’s Ice cream and had delicious coconut ice cream and coconut water straight from the nut. There was also an adorable kitten at the ice cream spot. The state park is super cool, you get to walk along a lava beach where the beach is made up of black pebbles. During out time on the beach, I quickly learned a second pair of schools would have been helpful, the tide was quite high and soaked our feet. On our way back down the mountain we stopped at the waterfall where you can swim. We opted not to, due to forgetting towels. I think the tour is great, worth the value. Request Bryan, he’s cool.

Response from the operator: Aloha, thank you for the beautiful review and acknowledging Bryan's awesomeness!. He is truly a special person. I will say I am very fortunate to have the very best of the best drivers on the island. We do allow our team to cater to the group on their tours. We try our best to stand out from a typical tour and not be cookie cutter. We truly take great pride in what we do and what we have to offer. I am thrilled to hear you had such a wonderful day. We appreciate you selecting Aloha Eco Adventures to take you on this amazing and beautiful adventure! I hope your time on Maui was a magical adventure! PS: Viator/TripAdvisor does not have the ability to book private tours with us. Whomever booked you should have never said this was private. Private tours are available to book directly with Aloha Eco Adventures. Mahalo, Laurie

    Great tour! Highly recommend!!

The road to Hana adventure was excellent! Chad was a great driver and commentator throughout the very long day. Every stop we made gave us beautiful scenery in history of the island. I would say the only recommendation would be maybe to have the Driver have some sort of a microphone because we were in the back row of the van and it was hard to hear him at times. The farmed table lunch at Hana Farm was extremely tasty and plentiful. Love eating local wherever we travel. Overall, the day was great and it was so nice to let someone else do the driving!!!

Response from the operator: Aloha, thank you for the wonderful review. Chad is fantastic. He has great passion and a wealth of knowledge. He always takes extra special care of our guests. I am very fortunate to have the best team on the island. We appreciate you choosing Aloha Eco Adventures to take you on this amazing and beautiful adventure! All of our vans are equipped with a PA system. Chad prefers not to use as he believes his voice is to loud. I will make him aware that this is not the case. I truly appreciate the feedback. Maui: Road to Hana Adventure with Farm to Table Lunch: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Maui.

How much does Maui: Road to Hana Adventure with Farm to Table Lunch cost?

    +

Prices start at $259 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Maui usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Maui: Road to Hana Adventure with Farm to Table Lunch take?

    +

Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Maui is not rushed.

Is Maui: Road to Hana Adventure with Farm to Table Lunch worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 91 out of 100, which we label "90+ Club". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 1,007 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Maui, and how flexible the cancellation terms are. Scoring 90 or above puts it in the Outty 90+ Club, the top tier of everything we rank.

Can I cancel or reschedule Maui: Road to Hana Adventure with Farm to Table Lunch?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Maui: Road to Hana Adventure with Farm to Table Lunch suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 9-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Maui: Road to Hana Adventure with Farm to Table Lunch?

    +

Around 352 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Maui can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Maui and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Maui: Road to Hana Adventure with Farm to Table Lunch start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Maui within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Maui?

    +

Maui's three signature days are the Hana road, the Haleakala summit sunrise and the Molokini snorkel sail, and all three are logistics problems as much as experiences. Sunrise summit entry is permit-controlled, Hana is a ten-hour driving day, and Molokini boats vary wildly in size. Our ranking rewards operators who handle permits and keep boat capacity low. On Outty we rank every Maui experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Molokini Crater + South Maui Coast Adventure from Kihei, Maui, West Maui Snorkeling Experience by Boat from Ka'anapali, Maui Eco-Raft Tour: Eye-Level Whale or Dolphin Watching - Lahaina. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Maui?

    +

April to May and September to October. Whale season runs December to April. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Maui?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.

What is included in Maui: Road to Hana Adventure with Farm to Table Lunch?

    +

Included: Snacks; Hotel pickup and drop-off; GST (Goods and Services Tax); Bottled water; and Driver/guide. Not included: Gratuities recommended 15-20%; and Breakfast. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.

Does Maui: Road to Hana Adventure with Farm to Table Lunch include hotel pickup?

    +

Yes, pickup is offered, or you can meet at the start point instead from 57 listed pickup locations in and around Maui. Be ready about 10 minutes before the start time. You can also enter a custom pickup address when booking.

What languages is Maui: Road to Hana Adventure with Farm to Table Lunch offered in?

    +

It runs in English. Pick your language when choosing a date and time, as not every departure runs in every language.

Will I get instant confirmation and a mobile ticket for Maui: Road to Hana Adventure with Farm to Table Lunch?

    +

Confirmation is sent by the operator after booking, usually within 48 hours; if it is not confirmed you are not charged. Mobile tickets are accepted, so you can show the voucher on your phone.
