A fun experience.
This was a fun tour but be prepared to enter into the spirit of it as the host was very lively. The afternoon tea was nice and just the right amount for people who were hungry (if you've had lunch, then it would seem like quite a lot). Ane, Shadiat and Aziz looked after us well. We'd paid for an upstairs table which made the price quite expensive but we enjoyed it.

Granddaughter loved it all but I found it very lacking, sandwiches dried up and curly, some of the cakes tasted stale,
Booking was incorrect but bus person put it right and was lovely

Excellent family treat
Would definitely recommend. We had the afternoon tea yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. This was a birthday present and the surprise card and little cake were a lovely touch. The food was delicious and a bonus that you could keep the cup. Our team were Namata, Liam and Francesca and they all made it so fun. Thankyou all

A Fun and Nostalgic Birthday Experience
Our experience with this afternoon tea bus tour was definitely not upsetting. They take you around interesting sights, do challenges like who can get the most waves, and even Paddington pops up and tells you about the place you are at sometimes. The length is ninety minutes, and considering that we were a family with very different children, no one got bored and no one complained. The atmosphere is fun but not too energetic, which definitely suits our family. The crowd size was around a full bus, but you could hear everything clearly from both decks. The staff were fun, entertaining, and invited us in many challenges. We even managed to get waves from a few other buses! Our servers/tour guides were: Conor, Chedeisy, Cysina and Aziz. This was an experience for an 11th birthday, and it was fun while not being ‘babyish’. The staff sang happy birthday and we were greeted with a cupcake and a card. The food had good quality and taste, even if we didn’t particularly like and eat all of it. We also appreciated that, although we don’t have any requirements, on other tables they were met (for example: vegan). Overall, we would recommend Paddington Bear Afternoon Tea Bus whatever age range or group, fun for younger ones and nostalgic for adults.
Response from the operator: Dear Guest, Thank you so much for this wonderful review! A very happy belated 11th birthday to the Birthday Star! It sounds like such a lovely way to celebrate, with a little London sightseeing, Paddington popping up along the route, and plenty of challenges to keep the whole family entertained. We are especially delighted to hear that the experience worked so well for a family with different ages and interests. Finding that sweet spot between fun for younger guests and nostalgic enough for adults is exactly what we hope to achieve with our Paddington Bear Afternoon Tea Bus Tour. It is wonderful to know that everyone could hear the commentary and join in the challenges, even with a full bus. And congratulations on getting waves from other buses too! That sounds like a successful round of the waving challenge. We are also pleased that the birthday celebration was made a little more special with the singing, cupcake and card. We will be sure to share your kind words with Conor, Chedeisy, Cysina and Aziz, as well as the rest of our fabulous team. Thank you for highlighting the care taken with different dietary requirements across the bus too. Making sure guests can enjoy the experience comfortably and inclusively is very important to us. Thank you for recommending Paddington Bear Afternoon Tea for such a wide range of ages. We hope to welcome you back for another fun-filled London adventure in the future! Warm regards, Brigit’s Team

Why this scores 67
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Paddington Bear - Afternoon Tea Bus Tour in London: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for London.
How much does Paddington Bear - Afternoon Tea Bus Tour in London cost?
+
Prices start at $69 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in London usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Paddington Bear - Afternoon Tea Bus Tour in London take?
+
Plan for about 1.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in London is not rushed.
Is Paddington Bear - Afternoon Tea Bus Tour in London worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 151 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in London, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Paddington Bear - Afternoon Tea Bus Tour in London?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Paddington Bear - Afternoon Tea Bus Tour in London suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Paddington Bear - Afternoon Tea Bus Tour in London?
+
Around 53 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in London can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in London and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Paddington Bear - Afternoon Tea Bus Tour in London start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central London within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in London?
+
London's best attractions split cleanly: the museums are free and need no booking, so the paid market is about views, theatre and getting out of the city for a day. That makes value scoring unusually important here, and the Outty Ranking penalises anything charging premium prices for access you could get for nothing. On Outty we rank every London experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Soho Music & Historic Pubs Tour, London Small Group Tour of Historical Pubs, The Great British Rock and Roll Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit London?
+
May to September for long evenings, December for the Christmas markets. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in London?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
