Dear Chrysa and Jonathan, thank you for welcoming us with open arms! The focus of the trip might be the olive oil, but it involves so much history and passion, not to mention the delicious local food! If you have any questions about olive oil or living on Corfu as a local: ask them here and you will get an honest response. Jonathan was a wonderful tour guide: very honest, but also very humorous. My mom doesn’t understand English, so I was translating to her throughout the tour. Afterwards I asked: “why did you laugh at the guide’s jokes before I even translated them?”, to which she responded: “he has so much charisma, I didn’t have to understand his jokes to know they were funny!” 😂 If you’re a vegetarian: you will be accommodated for! The mezze are delicious; if the Greek gods really existed, their ambrosia couldn’t have been better than Chrysa’s homemade dolma! This has definitely been the highlight of our Corfu trip so far❣️

We were picked and taken to join the Olive Tour with Johnathon and his lovely wife. It was in a great location in the mountains, and the talk was so informative. We finished with food and wine, what could be nicer. Highly recommend

Not to be missed
What a perfect way to learn about the local area, economy, history, traditions and olives. The highlight of our holiday. Took so much away from our time spent with Johnathan, will never look at a bottle of of Olive Oil in the same way again! Johnathan and Heresa were such warm hosts supplying not only olives & olive oil but also a lovely lunch and wine. A must do when in Corfu.

One of our favourite things on Corfu
Absolutely fabulous experience and one of our favourite things we did in Corfu! We visited this beautiful olive plantation as a family, with our two children, and had the most wonderful morning. The plantation has been in the owner’s family for five generations, with each generation working as olive farmers, and his passion and knowledge really came through in the tour. He was incredibly kind, engaging and generous with his time, and we learned so much about olive farming, the history of the plantation and, of course, olive oil. What made it particularly special was that everyone enjoyed it on a different level — even our children were completely engaged and came away having learned so much. It was fascinating, relaxed and genuinely interesting throughout. The setting itself was beautiful, with lots of lovely shade beneath the olive trees, making it such a peaceful way to spend a morning. We also had an amazing lunch and got to taste the olive oil, which was a real highlight. It was a small, intimate group, which made the whole experience feel personal and authentic. We left feeling that we had experienced something really special and had been given a wonderful insight into a family tradition that has been passed down for generations. We would wholeheartedly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Corfu, especially families. It was informative, delicious, beautiful and, above all, incredibly memorable. One of the absolute highlights of our holiday!
