    About this experience

If you are looking for a unique culinary experience, then join us in a hands-on cooking class, where you will be initiated into the secrets of Greek cuisine. We will prepare and cook four starters together. This is a good excuse to enjoy a glass of tsipouro, a homemade distilled spirit from mainland Greece. Although many salads exist throughout Greece, none can beat a traditional Greek salad. Therefore, we will prepare this colourful and nutritious dish, unlike anything you have tried until now, with most of the ingredients freshly picked from our garden. Next is our main course: a dish from the local Corfiot cuisine or another famous Greek dish. Prepare your senses for an explosion of flavours and treat yourselves to top-quality local white wine. There is no Greek feast without a traditional sweet, so indulge yourselves with one of the most famous Greek desserts. Whether it is baklava or halva, galaktoboureko or orange pie, it will end your day at Corfood Bites in the sweetest way.

    A wonderful day spent...

A wonderful day spent cooking and eating authentic delicious Greek cusine. You definitely don't need breakfast on the day. Marie and Christos are fantastic hosts and teachers.

A perfect culinary experience for the whole family

Myself, my husband and my 2 teenagers daughters spent a wonderful day with our fantastic hosts, Christos and Marie (and Natasha) and 5 lovely strangers cooking, and eating, the most fantastic, traditional feast. From the moment we arrived and were served coffee and snacks the day was perfectly paced, the hosts generously provided us with food and drink throughout the experience. Christos was happy to answer all my questions and share his knowledge. The day was tailored to every level of culinary skill with those wanting more of a challenge opting to prepare the more complicated dishes. We ate and drank and chatted all day and left with happy hearts and very full tummys. Thank you for an unforgettable experience.

    Great genuine experience

In May, my wife Kristin and I had the pleasure of spending a memorable evening with Christos and Marie. From the moment we arrived, Christos's genuine warmth and Marie’s brilliant, sincere nature made us feel right at home, while Natasha kept us smiling with her wonderful humor and kindness. This hands-on cooking class was the highlight of our Corfu holiday. Thank you for welcoming us into your home for such an authentic culinary adventure—the food was spectacular, and the company was even better. I highly recommend this experience while visiting Corfu.

    Amazing!

Christos and his assistant, Natasya, went above and beyond to make this class an amazing experience. We spent hours learning how to cook delicious Greek food and getting to know fellow travelers and Christos and Natasya. It is truly a 6-7 hour experience so make sure to plan accordingly, but we can’t recommend this class enough! Great time!

    Fun, and a learning experience!

I have been coming to Corfu and cooking its cuisine for decades. For me, it was time to see some of those dishes from another perspective. I loved it! Learned so much. Outdoor cooking with others who were less familiar with Corfu, but still I learned so much from Christos. I recommend this to all!

Corfood bites - Cooking classes by Christos: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Corfu.

How much does Corfood bites - Cooking classes by Christos cost?

    +

Prices start at $130 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Corfu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Corfood bites - Cooking classes by Christos take?

    +

Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Corfu is not rushed.

Is Corfood bites - Cooking classes by Christos worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 88 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 95 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most highly reviewed in Corfu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Corfood bites - Cooking classes by Christos?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Corfood bites - Cooking classes by Christos suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Corfood bites - Cooking classes by Christos?

    +

Around 33 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Corfu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Corfu and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Corfood bites - Cooking classes by Christos start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Corfu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Corfu?

    +

On Outty we rank every Corfu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Small-Group Food and Cultural Tour in Corfu, The Governor's Olive Mill Tour with Olive Oil Tasting, Electric Fat Bike Self Guided Tour Discover North Corfu. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Corfu?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Corfu?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
