Nagarjun was named after a very popular Holy man (Mahasiddhas) called Nagarjun who used to stay here and do long hours of meditation. We can still see the Nagarjun Meditation cave and explore the surroundings. There is an old small Buddhist Stupa on the top of the hill where every year, people celebrate festivals at the stupa on Buddha's birth day.. From the Top of Nagarjun you can see 360 degree views of Kathmandu valley and its surrounding mountains including Manaslu, Ganesh Himal and Lanhtang mountain range. The hiking at Nagarjun lasts for 4-5 hours is very easy and scenic. High Himalayan Trekking organizes a private day hiking trip to our clients anytime throughout the year.

From start to finish it was very well planned and went smoothly. Lila is very funny and was very good at adapting to changing circumstances, his colleagues like Bibek or Sandro are also very helpful and professional, we felt really taken care of for the whole trip. Highly recommend

Do your homework and find a better company
TLDR: bad company, there is much better out there. I had a pretty bad experience with hike and bike. My gf and I decided to hike the Manaslu and Tsum Valley circuit. We reached out to Lila because he was recommended to us by some friends we met in Nepal. While Lila seems like a great guide, I would not recommend working with him. - Lila found us a really bad guide. He had worked with him only once. Overall, you should find a company that works with the same guides repeatedly. Because we were short on time and wanted to leave on the trek asap, I suspect that Lila picked someone he did not know well. This guide was probably the worst I have seen in Nepal (so far). Barely spoke English, did not hike with us (either 1km behind or ahead), smoked cigarettes and watched tiktoks all the time. This is NOT what you should expect from your trekking guide. We had to fire him after 7 days and join another group for the second week (from a different company). - Hike and Bike is overpriced. Lila asked us for $50 a day. I do not mind paying extra if I get a better experience (eg, a more knowledgeable guide). Entry-level guides are $25 to $30 a day. Unless you get a top-notch guide, do not pay more! Also, pay half of the total price after the hike. - Lila did not refund us. We payed him over $1,000 dollars (guide + permits + transportation) and got $80 back. At this stage, we were so fed up with the whole experience that we gave up on asking more. Hiking in Nepal is a beautiful experience and you should share with a guide who is passionate about his work and his country. We were happy to have this experience with the guide we found during the hike (from another company). Don't be like us, do your homework, meet your guide before you pay anything and avoid working with companies that do not care about the quality of the service they provide.

Good fitness training
Great walk By taxi to starting point First thorough check of passport, bags, no lighters etc. Military area, so stick to the rules Hard walk, more than 3000 steps up. Condition must be good. Lovely moment outside the hectic city of Kathmandu Upstairs at the Gumpa is good life, water, soft drinks, chips for sale Winter is the perfect time to go

Travel Nepal Trekking
She climbed with Lila and his team in September 2021 into the mountains. Tracking and accompaniment was excellent! All issues were dealt with expeditiously. The team is very friendly and ready to always come to the rescue, the care was felt at every turn, and this is very valuable and important especially in the mountains.
