    Worst trip ever

Extremely disappointed with this tour, definitely the worst trip I have ever booked through Viator. The tour guide was extremely unhelpful, he did not give us an overview of the trip or tell us what activities were available within the locations we were visiting throughout the day. The tour guide began the day by telling the group he was from Hungary and had lived in the UK for a while. He described the UK as a “sh*t hole” which I was deeply offended by as this is where I am from. As the day went on the tour guide was negative and repeated “same sh*t different day” really bringing the atmosphere of the trip right down. We were then taken on the tour bus to Lucerne. A beautiful city however, we were here for 2.5 hours with hardly anything to do. This was very boring. We found ourselves waiting outside the bus for a very long time at this stop. We were given a little walk to see some landmarks here which we completed within 45 minutes. Upon returning to the bus there was also other tourists sat waiting around who also presented bored. We then went to mount titlis, this was the part we were most excited for where we had the snow mobiling booked. As we arrived, we were taken to the snow mobiles which were more than disappointing. An hour driving round in a small circle on a little track. This was dreadful. I have done 3 other snow mobile experiences in 3 different countries and this was the by far the worst experience I have ever experienced. Following our hour on the snow mobile we were then told by the tour guide we did not have the top of the mountain included within our trip like the rest of the group and this would be another £70 to go to the top. This was an extortionate price considering this trip was already £200. We were then left to sit for 3 hours at a cafe whilst we waited for the rest of the group. This is the most dreadful tour I have ever experienced and I am extremity dissapointed. I do not recommend.

Response from the operator: Hi Emily, Thank you again for your feedback. We would like to mention that Switzerland is generally a costly destination, and prices for optional activities—such as access to the top of Mount Titlis—are standard for the region. We are also very surprised and concerned by your comments regarding the guide’s behavior, as this does not reflect the usual standards we strive to maintain at Keytours Switzerland. This will be carefully reviewed internally. That said, we would also like to share that, according to the feedback received on the day of the tour, there were several moments where your dissatisfaction was expressed throughout the excursion. While we completely understand that not every experience meets expectations, this may have influenced your overall perception of the day. We truly regret that the tour did not meet your expectations and appreciate you taking the time to share your perspective. Best regards,

We had a little bit of a rough start with the bus but once that was fixed, we had a great trip. Gabriel made sure we knew exactly what to see and where to spend our time. Mission Accomplished!

Response from the operator: Hi Teresa, thank you so much for your 5-star review! We really appreciate your patience with the initial bus issue and are glad everything quickly turned around for a great trip. It’s wonderful to hear that Gabriel guided you so well and helped you make the most of your time—mission accomplished indeed! 😊 We hope to welcome you again soon on another adventure with Keytours, perhaps even for our Titlis snowmobile experience!

    A Great Adventure Day Trip

Fun and adventurous day trip suitable for our active kids (5, 7, 10 & 11 years old). Our guide was informative and organized. We couldn't find any information on what to bring or wear for the day, and we were unsure whether to pack ski suits for ourselves and children. We wore our water resistant puffer jackets over our thermals and top layers, quick-dry long pants, children's snow boots, and adult's waterproof hiking boots, and packed our ski gloves, spare children's socks, and an extra fleece top layer in a water resistant backpack. We packed well! Be prepared to walk and trek through snow, and uneven wet terrain. Wear and bring water resistant jacket or raincoat or ski jacket, and waterproof hiking or snow boots, gloves, and extra warm layers to suit the temperatures. I recommend this trip to adventurous and active families!

Response from the operator: Bonjour, Thank you for your review! We’re glad you and your family enjoyed the day and found our guide informative. Your tips on clothing and preparation will be very helpful for future guests. We’re thrilled you recommend the trip and hope to welcome you again soon! Warm regards,

Mount Titlis Snowmobile Adventure Day Trip From Zurich: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Zurich.

How much does Mount Titlis Snowmobile Adventure Day Trip From Zurich cost?

    +

Prices start at $15 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Zurich usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Mount Titlis Snowmobile Adventure Day Trip From Zurich take?

    +

Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Zurich is not rushed.

Is Mount Titlis Snowmobile Adventure Day Trip From Zurich worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 14 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Zurich, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Mount Titlis Snowmobile Adventure Day Trip From Zurich?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Mount Titlis Snowmobile Adventure Day Trip From Zurich suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Mount Titlis Snowmobile Adventure Day Trip From Zurich?

    +

Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Zurich can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Zurich and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Mount Titlis Snowmobile Adventure Day Trip From Zurich start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Zurich within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Zurich?

    +

On Outty we rank every Zurich experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Zurich Food Tour with 10 Local Delicacies, Cheeses & Chocolates, Private, excellent guided tour of Zurich (from CHF 21/pers.), Zürich Historic District Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Zurich?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Zurich?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
