Beautiful experience
We did a trek in Mustang, as well as a visit to Pokhara and Chitwan and visits to Kathmandu, including activities (knife forging, cooking classes...). I highly recommend

More More Momo, Absolutely Delicious!
We had an amazing time attending the momo cooking class as a family! The instructor was friendly and patient, making it easy for everyone - from kids to adults - to join in and learn. We loved getting hands-on experience preparing the dough, mixing the flavorful fillings, and mastering the art of folding perfect momo. The atmosphere was fun and relaxed, and it felt great to connect with such a beautiful part of Nepali culture together. After cooking, enjoying our own fresh momos was the perfect family bonding moment. Highly recommend this class for anyone looking for a delicious, interactive experience with their loved ones!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review, we are glad that you enjoyed the momo cooking class. We hope for hosting more activities in the future. :) Cheers! I.Experience Nepal Team

Fantastic cooking class.
We tried Momo for the first time in Kathmandu and we absolutely loved it. Our friend recommended us about this tour. We were picked at our hotel by our guide and he took us to a local house where a couple were there. We started making a flour dough, mixed chicken minced meat with cabbage, onion, spring onion, different spices etc. Then we made 5 different momos shapes. They were so good at teaching that we learned cooking momo very quickly. After we steamed the momos we sat outside in the balcony which was very peaceful. The momo was so delicious that we ate a lot. We are taking this knowledge as a souvenir back home, Invite our friends and treat them with the momo we nake back home.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your lovely review. We are glad that you enjoyed the Momo cooking class. :) Cheers! I.Experience Nepal Team

Amazing Activity to do with local
We booked a momo cooking class with the company Called I. Experience Nepal. The momo cooking class was organised with an amazing local family and also with a translator. Made buffalo and chicken momos. Learned folding momos into different shapes and tomato sauce for momo and sat with the family and had it with local home made Aaila which is a local dring. We loved it and it was a 10 star experience to so while you are in Kathmandu. Most recommended.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your lovely review. We are glad that you enjoyed Momo cooking class. We hope to host you more in the future. :) Cheers! I.Experience Nepal Team

Why this scores 59
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Momo Cooking Class -The Art Of Making MoMo with Home Chef: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.
How much does Momo Cooking Class -The Art Of Making MoMo with Home Chef cost?
+
Prices start at $30 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Momo Cooking Class -The Art Of Making MoMo with Home Chef take?
+
Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.
Is Momo Cooking Class -The Art Of Making MoMo with Home Chef worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Momo Cooking Class -The Art Of Making MoMo with Home Chef?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Momo Cooking Class -The Art Of Making MoMo with Home Chef suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 2.5-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Momo Cooking Class -The Art Of Making MoMo with Home Chef?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Momo Cooking Class -The Art Of Making MoMo with Home Chef start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?
+
On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour | UNESCO World Heritage sites, Manaslu Circuit Trek, Kathmandu Food and Drink Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kathmandu?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
