Like Worlds away but still so close. We are only 20 min drive away from downtown of Reykjavik. We go on the ATV,s up to the Reykjavik backyard hills where the Wilderness starts. You will witness a wonderful view over the area, volcanoes, the steam from the Geothermal, The Reykjavik mountain Esjan, the towns, the lakes, horses. You can even see the famous basalt columns on this totally 2.5 - hour Activity. If we are lucky you can perhaps see the ignition of the red sky of the Midnight Sun in the Summer time or perhaps witness the Ignition of the Northern Lights in the Winter time like in another world. We pick up from all hotels in the Reykjavik area if it is possible. But note that the Reykjavik city has made a non pickup zones for tourist in the downtown so we pick up from special tourists bus stops over there. The nearest Tourists Bus stop is usually not far away. If you decide to meet us at the meeting point our basecamp is only 20 minutes drive from downtown Reykjavik.

What a cool experience, we did this our first night here and absolutely loved it. The weather was rainy so we didn’t see the midnight sun. If we got to see a lot of the outskirts of Reykjavík and learned about the area! Our guide was kind and knowledgeable and made sure we were comfortable and having a good time! They provide warm waterproof gear and helmets as well. Definitely check it out.

We had a wonderful time....
We had a wonderful time. My father (82) and I (53) went on this adventure. We went up a mountain and saw the midnight sun. Our guide was very good and knowledgeable. We truly had a great time.

The tour guide was nice...
The tour guide was nice and friendly. He did a good job explaining the stops that we made. Driving the ATV up the mountain and overlooking the city. I was able to see some fireworks which was being set off in Reykjavík. The tour guide stated the mountain that we were on is a good place to watch the Northern Lights.

Great tour! My wife and I...
Great tour! My wife and I had never been on an ATV and it was very easy to learn. Our guide was great. The pickup/drop off was very easy. Tour was a lot of fun, he told us a lot of cool things about Iceland and the view at the top of the mountain was amazing.
