Jumpy whales Iceland
Best tour ever! Saw jumpy whales, waving, dives. Loved it! Alesso, Blanca and Laura were amazing! Super recommended!

Would not recommend
A great and enthusiastic host, however the offerings were bad for the money. One would assume there would be a dj or a live band ? Some complimentary bar snacks maybe? All in all, not a very memorable trip with much effort

Book now, why are you waiting?
We looked at various new year's eve fireworks cruise offerings and decided on Special Tours. Was the best decision!! It was easy to locate and embarkation was smooth and orderly. The cruise took us out into the bay offering us a fantastic view back to Reykjavik and all the fireworks for as far as the eyes can see. There were many "wows" coming from the mouths of the passengers. The complimentary champagne at midnight could have been a bit more organized,but you just push your way up to the bar counter to get your glass. I ordered New Years Eve horns, blowers, masks in the USA before arriving. It was the excitement of the ship as we passed around these party favors for strangers to share. A lady from Britian said, "Look, he's passing out hooters"....I am still laughing at that accent, saying that so refined. We had an absolute blast and already booked for December 31, 2025!!!

Fantastic way to experience Reykjavic & to bring in a New Year!!
Great way to spend New Years Eve and great view of Reykjavik's skyline, which was even more special with all the fireworks & then we also saw the northern lights! Glass of champagne just made this experience perfect - thank you!!

Save your money and go to the lake instead
I expected the boat to be decorated but it was a boat used for Shark Watching trips. The staff were lovely but there wasn’t really a party atmosphere. I think it’s advertised inaccurately by TUI. A champagne cruise gives you a different expectation. I would suggest to save your money and go to the frozen lake to watch the fireworks instead. Remember to book early if you want to eat out on New Year’s Eve.
