Fun experience and good chocolate to get home with us

This was 3 hours of serious chocolate making, we made 3 different types of chocolates and it was very hands-on and a lot of fun. The staff at Melt were also very kind in rescheduling us when we missed the first experience because our train was stuck in a field.

    Great chocolate experience!

It was my friend's birthday so we took the chocolate making class to celebrate. Paul, the chocolatier, was super knowledgable and friendly. He welcomed all of our questions and would go above and beyond e.g giving us some his own chocolate stash to try: I still think about that coffee blonde chocolate! Would recommend for a fun friend/family afternoon adventure. My only minor criticism is the shop itself is very small (lots of staff members walking past and squeezing into the tight space which is a bit distracting) i and you do stand up the entire class. It would be great if this could be moved to a different venue or fold away chairs/stools are provided.

    Amazing!!

AMAZING!!! Everything was perfect. Do not miss out. We ended up with more amazing chocolate than I could have imagined. They were perfect gifts. Do not hesitate to book.

    Don't bother

We were both very disappointed in the chocolate making course. It was hard to understand the instructor. The course was in the middle of their premises and people were constantly walking back and forwards. I couldn't see the screen. The chocolates we took home were not a success. I'm utterly baffled by these glowing reviews.

Response from the operator: Hello, We sincerely apologise for the disappointing experience you had during our chocolate-making course. It is our top priority to provide a high quality and enjoyable class for all participants, and we are truly sorry we fell short in this instance. We understand how important clear instruction and a distraction free environment are for learning, and we are sorry that these aspects were not up to standard during your session. Additionally, we regret that the chocolates you took home did not meet your expectations. To make it right, we would like to offer you a complimentary retake of the class at a time that suits you. We have addressed the issue you mentioned to ensure a better experience for all future attendees. Please contact us at +44(0)20 8354 4504 / Option 1, to arrange your retake. We look forward to providing you with the quality you deserve. Warm regards, Andreea at Melt

Melt Chocolate's Magical Master Class: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for London.

How much does Melt Chocolate's Magical Master Class cost?

    +

Prices start at $149 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in London usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Melt Chocolate's Magical Master Class take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in London is not rushed.

Is Melt Chocolate's Magical Master Class worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 55 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 11 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in London, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Melt Chocolate's Magical Master Class?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Melt Chocolate's Magical Master Class suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Melt Chocolate's Magical Master Class?

    +

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in London can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in London and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Melt Chocolate's Magical Master Class start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central London within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in London?

    +

London's best attractions split cleanly: the museums are free and need no booking, so the paid market is about views, theatre and getting out of the city for a day. That makes value scoring unusually important here, and the Outty Ranking penalises anything charging premium prices for access you could get for nothing. On Outty we rank every London experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Soho Music & Historic Pubs Tour, London Small Group Tour of Historical Pubs, The Great British Rock and Roll Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit London?

    +

May to September for long evenings, December for the Christmas markets. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in London?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
