What you get

    About this experience

Please Note: During the summer of 2026, our family experienced a devastating medical emergency involving multiple immediate family members. A small number of tours were canceled on very short notice while we handled those circumstances. We sincerely apologize to those affected and are deeply grateful for the kindness and understanding shown by so many guests during this incredibly difficult time. We are, the only ones have four stops to get off the bus. We also offer a lot of amenities that no other tour offers. The tours keep you fully engaged and all we require is for you to be curious! We will not disappoint, what makes us entirely different is that we have a screen at the front of the bus that shows what certain sites looked like in the days of yore. The All Island Bus Tour takes you on an adventure you will never forget. Capture the beautiful vistas, the quaint little cottages, the amazing clay cliffs and everything in between.

    Tour

I had done a previous tour with another company many years ago and it was more informative . Also the bus was cramped and hot. Not comfortable and it was a new vehicle.

Response from the operator: the tour vehicle is brand new with large windows and its the widest of all the vehicles sought out... not to mention the wonderful air conditioning.... you were obviously on a different tour! you shouldve stayed with who you were with last time... :)

Been there, Done that and got a hat.....

We sure had a good time, with some wonderful stops and education about the island. This time of the year is very hot and crowded. Enjoyed the jaws sights and especially the Lighthouse.

    Great tour of the Vineyard

This is a great way to see the whole island quickly. Sam was knowledgeable, had great stories and we learned things we wouldn’t otherwise have found out. Great if you don’t want to walk much.

Martha Vineyard Bus Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Martha's Vineyard.

How much does Martha Vineyard Bus Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $75 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Martha's Vineyard usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Martha Vineyard Bus Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Martha's Vineyard is not rushed.

Is Martha Vineyard Bus Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 54 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.1/5 across 58 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Martha's Vineyard, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Martha Vineyard Bus Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Martha Vineyard Bus Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Martha Vineyard Bus Tour?

    +

Around 20 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Martha's Vineyard can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Martha's Vineyard and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Martha Vineyard Bus Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Martha's Vineyard within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Martha's Vineyard?

    +

Martha's Vineyard, MA packs its best experiences into walkable neighborhoods, local food, and day trips nearby. Outty ranks every bookable tour and activity in Martha's Vineyard by rating quality, review depth, booking demand and value, so you can see the standouts before you book. On Outty we rank every Martha's Vineyard experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include #1 Best 3hr Martha's Vineyard shared Island Tour from Oak Bluffs, Best of Martha's Vineyard 3 hour Full-Island Tour, #1 Best Martha's Vineyard Private Tours for up to 6 people. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Martha's Vineyard?

    +

Spring and fall bring the best weather and lighter crowds in Martha's Vineyard, while summer has the widest choice of tours and evening activities. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Martha's Vineyard?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
