A day on the Vineyard
Jim did an excellent job giving the story of MV.

ok
great trip around the Island! Mark the tour guide was full of info but he could have been a recording! He talked at us not to us!
via Viator
Ok - lots of driving through farmland and missed Edgartown!
Good overview but seemed a bit rambling. Lots of driving - we started out heading to the end of the island (opposite Edgartown). It took about 30 minutes of driving by open farmland (pretty but much of the same after 10 minutes) - we stopped at a small fishing town for a break - not much there to do or see. 2nd we saw the beautiful cliffs / another break where you could get a bite/bathroom break. This was about halfway thru / then we headed to the other end of the island (Edgartown) but never made it - ran out of time (traffic) but missed a key highlight. Could be more organized and told us what our itinerary was going to be vs. mostly driving around farmland for 3 hours! I wish we could’ve seen the Edgartown harbor, lighthouse and thriving downtown but maybe next time. I suggest the driver/tour guide tell the guests where the tour is going and what you’ll see instead of driving randomly back and forth across the island.

Great tour
Mark was our driver and your guide. The stories he shared about Martha's Vineland and his history on the island was fascinating especially all the stories about JAWS! It was a good way to learn about the Vineyard!

Great overview of MV
Our guide was great. Great local knowledge. He Grew up on Martha's Vinyard. My only criticism is that the van was cramped. It held 14 and we had 13. The seats in the back on the side are over the wheel and did not have foot room
Response from the operator: Thanks for the great review of your tour!

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Martha's Vineyard.
How much does Best of Martha's Vineyard 3 hour Full-Island Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $65 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Martha's Vineyard usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Best of Martha's Vineyard 3 hour Full-Island Tour take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Martha's Vineyard is not rushed.
Is Best of Martha's Vineyard 3 hour Full-Island Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 78 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 620 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Martha's Vineyard, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Best of Martha's Vineyard 3 hour Full-Island Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Best of Martha's Vineyard 3 hour Full-Island Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Best of Martha's Vineyard 3 hour Full-Island Tour?
+
Around 217 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Martha's Vineyard can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Martha's Vineyard and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Best of Martha's Vineyard 3 hour Full-Island Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Martha's Vineyard within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Martha's Vineyard?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
