20days of beautiful trekking adventure
We had a great trekking experience with Alliance Adventure. Urja and Vijay, both gave us the best support and guidance throughout the trip. We experienced the sunny and rainy day in the forest, windy and clear day at the 4000 elevation, went through an adventurous journey together through numerous treks (Mardi Himal, Poon Hill, Khopra Danda and ABC), it is indeed an unforgettable experience for everyone. Skillful photographer, movie maker and Chef of Masala tea, Urja, his multi talented skills are extra bonuses to this beautiful memory.
Response from the operator: Dear Madam. J-e, I thank you so much for your lovely reviews and supporting continues my company. I am looking forwarding again another trekking in Nepal with your teams. Have a good day.

Madi Himal hiking experience Alliance Adventures
A group of 11 of us from Malaysia recently completed the 5-day Madi Himal trek with Alliance Adventures, and it was an unforgettable experience. Our guide, Urja Tamang, was exceptional. He was extremely responsible, attentive to every detail, and took great care of our hike, our bags, and our daily needs. Urja also has a wealth of experience traveling around the world, including Malaysia, and we loved hearing his stories. A fun fact – most of his clients are from Malaysia! The food during the trek was good, with plenty of dhal bhat, fried noodles, momo, fried rice, and pizza. As Malaysians, we are a bit spoiled for choice and I would have appreciated a wider variety in the menu. For sure, we were very well fed and always full! Overall, this was a well-organized, enjoyable, and memorable trek. If you’re considering exploring Madi Himal, Urja Tamang and Alliance Adventures are highly recommended!
Response from the operator: Dear Mr. Vincent Sir, I thank you so much for your lovely reviews us & very appreciated that. I hope again will be guiding you and your team in Nepal Mountains.

Mardi Himal Treks 2025
An Unforgettable Mardi Himal Trek with Alliance Adventure! My Mardi Himal Trek with Alliance Adventure, led by Urja Dai, was absolutely incredible! From the very first day, the team showed excellent organization, care, and professionalism. Every detail — from trekking permits to accommodations — was perfectly managed. Urja Dai, is a true leader and a wonderful companion. His deep knowledge of the Mardi Himal region, warm personality, and constant encouragement made the trek both safe and enjoyable. The breathtaking views of Machhapuchhre and Annapurna, friendly locals, and well-planned itinerary created memories that will last a lifetime. I highly recommend Alliance Adventure to anyone looking for a genuine and unforgettable Himalayan adventure. Thank you, Urja Dai, for making this Mardi Himal journey so special! 🙏✨ Er. Amazing experience
The Mardi Himal Trek was an amazing experience. Urja and his team took very good care of us. He gave good advise how to be acclimatised, pacing ourselves, dressing appropriately to stay warm or cool, and to enjoy ourselves (bringing sunnies was a great tip). A bonus he takes great photos too. The trail was peaceful and not too crowded, and the views of Machhapuchhre and the Annapurna range were stunning. I really enjoyed walking through the forests. The trek wasn’t too hard, just the right mix of challenge and fun. The sunrise and sunset views were amazing, and had the opportunity to catch some meteor shower — truly unforgettable. ⭐ 5/5 – Beautiful views, quiet trails, and great people.
Response from the operator: Dear Madam. Angel Ang, I thank you so much for your lovely reviews us & very appreciated that. I hope again looking forward to trekking in Nepal mountains with you and your teams.

Why this scores 62
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Mardi Himal Trek - 9 Days: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.
How much does Mardi Himal Trek - 9 Days cost?
+
Prices start at $1250 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Mardi Himal Trek - 9 Days take?
+
Plan for about 240 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.
Is Mardi Himal Trek - 9 Days worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 14 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Mardi Himal Trek - 9 Days?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Mardi Himal Trek - 9 Days suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 13. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 240-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Mardi Himal Trek - 9 Days?
+
Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 240-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Mardi Himal Trek - 9 Days start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?
+
On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour | UNESCO World Heritage sites, Classic Everest Base Camp Trek, Manaslu Circuit Trek. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kathmandu?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
