You can make necessary amendments to our checklist as per your need and convenience. In case, you couldn’t get any of the following listed items in your hometown or were in rush before your flight to Kathmandu, don’t panic! The equipment necessary can be easily purchased in the shops in Kathmandu.
- Again, if you are worrying about the quality of gears available in Kathmandu then majority of them are manufactured locally and some are imported from China and they are of awesome quality. Remember to keep your luggage as light as possible for a convenient travel. A porter is available for two people who will carry up to 25 kg at maximum, therefore, keep this in mind before you pack your bags!

An unforgettable experience!
My experience with Nepal Hiking Team was exceptional from the beginning. I was having difficulty with my application so went to the office in Kathmandu where I was welcomed with warm service and even a cup of tea whilst they were helping me. The trek was absolutely incredible, I had Paban as my guide alongside Nima and Prabin as porters and I couldn’t have asked for a better group of people! They were all so friendly and kind, Paban knew sooo much about the Himalayas and taught us so much about the trails, and sights we were seeing. Nima and Prabin were the best porters as well who taught me Nepalese cards games and let me join in with them. I spent the entire trip laughing and smiling, even when things didn’t go quite to plan! Paban even let me borrow his shoes when my walking boots failed me! All 3 of them guided us throughout the trek safely and also at a safe pace to acclimatise properly. I honestly couldn’t recommend this company more, we were so looked after and I loved every second of the trip ⭐️

We couldn’t have done it without them!
We had a fantastic experience trekking EBC with Nepal Hiking Team in August 2026! From initial booking to them driving us to the airport after the trek, the whole process was smooth. Our guide, Pawan, made the entire trek so much more enjoyable. I truly cannot imagine doing EBC without a guide. During monsoon season, a lot of tea houses and restaurants are closed and Pawan was able to keep our experience seamless because he had existing relationships with so many vendors and operators. He also helped us see incredible views and guided us to the best places to rest. EBC is a strenuous trek, but Pawan and our outstanding porters made the trip better and more enjoyable for us. Everyone in our group was able to make it to Base Camp because of their help! Without them, I truly do not think we all would have made it, as we heard about other groups who were only able to see Base Camp from a distance after the trail was washed out from rock slides, but our guides and porters got us over the rocks and got us all there. This was a once in a lifetime experience made so much better by the professionals at Nepal Hiking Team!

Unforgettable EBC Boys Trip
Completed the EBC Trek with the Nepal Hiking Team in June 2026. What an experience! From touchdown in Kathmandu, and easy to locate, on time pickup from the airport, to helping us find our way out of the Himalayas in bad weather, the Nepal Hiking Team absolutely exceeded our expectations at every single turn. Our lead guide Santosh was fantastic. He provided excellent insights every day about the different villages, local people, and of course, the mountains. Santosh was on the ball when we had questions, and was always willing to answer questions we had. Santosh also taught us local card games in the teahouses, to help us pass some time and relax, in between some of the more gruelling days. The team of Porters with Santosh (Depok and Lokman) were incredible, and made our trip so enjoyable, literally taking a huge weight off our backs! Depok also joined us to play cards, and always took good care of us, he will make an incredible guide someday soon I’m sure! Overall, not a bad thing to say about the team at NHT. I still cannot believe the value we got for what we paid (and I thought the price was too good to be true when I booked!). I hope to make it back to Nepal to see more of the Himalayas someday, and if I do, I’ll look no further than the Nepal Hiking Team, to make sure my trip is a success. Thank you again Santosh, Depok and Lokman, I’ll never forget my experience in Nepal and will treasure our friendships always!

EBC
12/10 amazing experience starting from the moment we landed in Nepal. We were well taken care of starting right from the airport all the way through out our trip. Nepal is a beautiful country and the crew from Nepal Hiking Team took alot of pride in showing us as much as we could soak up. Our guide Santosh was incredibly knowledgeable and went the extra mile time and time again to ensure we caught the best views and were comfortable and enjoying the experience. We also enjoyed learning some card games from Santosh and one of our porters Depak which was an extra personal touch from the crew we really appreciated!
