Himalaya Trekking
The team at Accessible Adventures were professional, kind and great to work with for our trekking trip to Nepal. We chose them as they are responsible employers, ensuring their staff are fair paid and insured. They provided us a specific itinerary that met all our expectations and more. Our guide Keshika and porter Shesh became our family in the Himalayas. It was an incredible experience.
Response from the operator: I sincerely appreciate your lovely remarks. We are overjoyed to learn that you had an amazing trekking experience in Nepal and that Keshika and Shesh became close to you while traveling. We take this very seriously, therefore it means a lot to us that you valued the professionalism of our team and our dedication to treating employees fairly. We are thrilled that the itinerary helped you make enduring memories in the Himalayas by meeting and even beyond your expectations. We hope to see you again soon for more amazing experiences in Nepal! Best wishes, The Accessible Adventure Team and Himal

Five-day family (kids included) trek to Mardi Himal View point
We did a 5-day trek to Mardi Himal view point this month. We were a group of 8, the youngest being an 8-year old. It was the first time for all of us on a multi-day trek ever. In short - We'll return to Accessible Adventures the next time! Himal has been the front face of Accessible and patiently answered all our queries including attending video calls. We started our interactions with him nearly 5 months in advance and he was always prompt in his responses every single time. Hari Shreshta was our trek leader - a very humble person! His demeanor towards us and his extended staff is respectful and polite. Manoj, Badri, Bishal, and Indra were our solid support who carried our baggage without any qualms. Their friendliness and warmth made us feel relaxed and happy after a hard day of trek. They were ever ready to facilitate our needs at the tea houses. During the trek itself, Hari ensured that my younger daughter was with him all through the tough spots (especially during the trek days to high camp and back). This lifted the tension and we could focus on ourselves. When the slightly older kids found the high altitude climb tough, the extended staff helped them carry their day pack and assisted them until the tea house. The accommodation in Kathmandu and Pokhara, and the tea houses all across the trek route has been comfortable and clean. A special mention about how they treat their guests - we had requested a small birthday celebration as our older daughter turned 14 soon after the trek. Hari and team organised a cake cut and made her day special. To sum it up, we carry wonderful memories of our first ever multi-day trek.
Response from the operator: Wow—thank you so much for this heartfelt and beautifully detailed review! 🌟 We’re truly honored to have been a part of your very first multi-day trekking experience, and even more thrilled that it left such a lasting, positive impression on your entire group—including your youngest adventurer! 😊🏞️ It’s always our goal to provide not just a trek, but a journey filled with care, comfort, and connection—and it’s so rewarding to hear that Himal, Hari, and the rest of the team delivered exactly that. Himal takes great pride in planning with precision, and we’re glad his months of coordination and prompt communication helped set the tone for a smooth adventure. Hari’s leadership, combined with the unwavering support from Manoj, Badri, Bishal, and Indra, truly embodies the spirit of Accessible Adventure—kind, respectful, and always ready to go the extra mile. It’s especially touching to hear how Hari made sure your youngest felt safe and supported on the trail. That’s the kind of personalized care we deeply believe in. 💚 We’re also so glad the birthday surprise brought some extra joy—it’s those little moments that turn a great trip into something unforgettable. 🎂🎈 From the mountain trails to the warm tea houses, from logistical precision to personal touches—thank you for placing your trust in us. We’ll be counting the days until your next visit to the Himalayas! With warmest regards and appreciation, Team Accessible Adventure

Worthy journey in Nepal🇳🇵
It was a pleasure trekking with Accessible Adventure. From Day 1 to Day last, everything went smooth, and the guide, Mr. Shyaam was filled with energy and jolly. Himal was very informative during the mail conversation and always available throughout the early session. I will be joining the next trip with the team again and recommend everyone to select these masters of Himalaya.

Excellent company and guide
I arrived in Kathmandu without a plan and with only a week to get a small taste for this beautiful country! I was recommended accessible adventures from a friend I made at my hotel and after talking with Hari, I decided to chose his company amidst the wide range of competing guiding services. Hari worked with me to choose a trek and a guide that worked best for my preferences, time, and budget and in less than 24 hours, I was on my way! Hari didn't make me feel pushed or exploited in any way, unlike some other services I had already come by. His company also has a very impressive record. Mahendra was my actual guide for the trip and was fantastic! Being younger like me, he was a lot of fun to hang out with but also had a ton of experience in the mountains and was a wealth of knowledge. I had lofty hiking goals given my limited time window but Mahendra was able to assess my performance and pick a route/pace that safely matched my capabilities. He made every part of the trip feel seamless, from the bus/jeep commutes, time in pokhara, as well as the actual trekking. He prioritized helping me get situated with meals and places to stay each day and he even went above and beyond to personally drop me off at the airport when we returned! I really enjoyed my time with Mahendra and Accessible Adventures and would recommend them to anyone else looking for a top-notch guide.
Response from the operator: We are confident that you had an exceptional time exploring Nepal with Accessible Adventures. Our team, especially Hari and Mahendra, provided expert attention and assistance to customize your trip to your preferences, time constraints, and budget. We offer a wide range of options and work closely with our clients to create unforgettable experiences. Mahendra was an exceptional guide and exceeded your expectations with his expertise, enthusiasm, and genuine care for your well-being. His qualities truly embody the spirit of our company. We will pass along your kind words to him and the rest of our team. Thank you for choosing Accessible Adventures for your Nepal adventure and for recommending us to others. We look forward to welcoming you back for another unforgettable journey in the future!

Why this scores 70
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Mardi Himal Trek: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.
How much does Mardi Himal Trek cost?
+
Prices start at $950 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Mardi Himal Trek take?
+
Plan for about 240 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.
Is Mardi Himal Trek worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Mardi Himal Trek?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Mardi Himal Trek suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 4. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 240-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Mardi Himal Trek?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 240-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Mardi Himal Trek start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?
+
On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour | UNESCO World Heritage sites, Classic Everest Base Camp Trek, Manaslu Circuit Trek. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kathmandu?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
