About this experience
Trekking Manaslu Circuit is an original experience of discovering the unknown from the known. What is more is we hike trails with fewer trekkers in a far flung region that is virtually untouched; giving us a sense of true Himalayan wilderness. The Manaslu region began welcoming visitors in 1991, and since then this area is now become highly popular among nature lovers on a global scale. In addition to this, today Manaslu region is the best option to its neighbor Annapurna Circuit; offering a range of rich biodiversity, stunning scenery, amazing mountain views and heartwarming trails.

Manaslu and Tslum Valley and we love Dhrub
I had an incredible experience doing the Manaslu/Tslum Valley trek. We were lucky to have had opportunities to connect with the families running the tea houses, and spent a lot of time visiting monasteries and of course appreciating the beautiful views. The Tslum Valley was especially less crowded and the people of the area were so kind and hospitable to trekkers. There is nobody I would’ve rather done this trek with than our guide Dhrub. He always had a good attitude, he paced things out really well and did a great job reading our group when it was time to rest or push harder. He crushes us in cards (sometimes), always had a joke, and was incredibly informative when it came to questions about monasteries, cultural details, native species etc. Experience would not have been the same without him!
Response from the operator: Dear Kimmily, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your wonderful experience with us. We are delighted to hear that your Manaslu and Tsum Valley trek was such a memorable journey. The Tsum Valley truly is a special place, and we are happy that you were able to experience its peaceful trails, warm hospitality, beautiful monasteries, and meaningful connections with the local families along the way. We are especially grateful for your kind words about Dhrub. He is passionate about sharing the culture, history, and natural beauty of the Himalayas, and it is wonderful to know that his positive attitude, sense of humour, and thoughtful guidance made such a difference to your trek. We will be sure to pass along your lovely feedback to him. Thank you again for choosing Travel Maker South Asia Pvt. Ltd. We truly appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you back to Nepal for another unforgettable Himalayan adventure in the future. Incredible trip up the Manaslu pass
My trip was nothing short of fantastic. I arrived in Kath, without plans or commitment, i just knew i wanted to trek. Thanks to Binod, Travel maker's manager, his superb care and patience, two days later i was walking on Manaslu trail. He listened to all my requests and then he was able to explain and tailor the best experience for me according to what I told him. Moreover, the trek was superb, the guides both friendly and professional and I can't stop reccomending them wholeheartedly. Sudip Lingthep, Dhrub Karki e Bharat Kumar Shrestha. They are really great people. I spent 14 unforgettable days, and I'm sure I'll spend more in the future with the help of Travel Maker and its great team. Thank you again for everything!

Lifetime experience!
Doing the Manaslu circuit trek via Travel Maker South Asia was a very good choice! I booked the trek with a friend when I was in the Netherlands, and the communication with the company was smooth from the beginning (also when we weren't in Nepal yet). We received quick and useful answers that helped us deciding what trek and company to choose. When in Nepal, the friendly staff (Bino) informed us well in what to expect, what to buy/bring on the trek and the procedure of practical/financial issues. Bino and the guides were flexible and willing to make the trek successful by considering our wishes, also during the trek. I found each of the guides (Sudip Lingthep, Dhrub Karki & Bharat Kumar Shrestha) experienced, professional, passionate and very energetic. I felt like I could trust them in making proper and safe decisions, and they cared about our wellbeing. Besides being amazing guides, they were in for making a lot of fun! This had an important contribution to the wonderful time I’ve had, which I’m very thankful for! When doing another trek (which I want to do for sure!) I would definitely like to go via Travel Maker again. I would recommend the guides Sudip, Dhrub and Bharat to anyone, without any doubt!!! Lifetime experience!
Response from the operator: Namaste! Thank you for the outstanding review! We at Travel Maker South Asia strive to provide a seamless, stress free travel experience for our guests and are so happy to hear that we exceeded your expectations! The trek to Manaslu is such an epic journey enhanced by the inclusion of our professional guides Sudip, Dhrub and Bharat making for a fun, fact filled and safe journey. Thank you for allowing us to share in your adventure and we look forward to welcoming you back to Nepal in the future.

Off the beaten track with a fantastic guide.
We had an amazing trek at the beautiful Manaslu circuit trek. The whole trip was fantastic from start to finish. The landscape around the Manaslu is beautiful and varying. On this trek one will experience everything from lush green valleys with waterfalls and suspension bridges all around, cool pinewood forests that stretches far above you, the mesmerizing landscape of Lharke pass and beautiful rhododendron forests. Our three man trip with a personal guide was made even better by the amazing guide Travel Maker employs, Suman Thapa. He has been a guide in the Nepali Himalayas for 20 years and he knows every mountain down to the last detail. A self taught English speaker Suman speaks a fluent and easily understandable English. He is very fond of striking conversation during the trip. Talking with this man and letting him share his inexhaustible wisdom, humor and charisma is a gift which is easily as big an experience as the trip itself. I would recommend this trip to anyone looking for the off beaten track because despite Manaslu's beauty it is quite undiscovered. You can easily experience having most days only running into a few other trekkers if any at all. And with the fantastic guidance of Suman, I hope your trek will be every bit as amazing as the trip we had.
Response from the operator: Hi, We appreciate your positive feedback about our service. We do take pride in catering to our guests’ needs the best way we can. If you’re traveling to our area gain soon, don’t hesitate to call us.Hope to see you soon. Cheers,

Why this scores 71
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Manaslu Circuit Trek: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.
How much does Manaslu Circuit Trek cost?
+
Prices start at $1500 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Manaslu Circuit Trek take?
+
Plan for about 408 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.
Is Manaslu Circuit Trek worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 71 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Manaslu Circuit Trek?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Manaslu Circuit Trek suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 408-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Manaslu Circuit Trek?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 408-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Manaslu Circuit Trek start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?
+
On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour | UNESCO World Heritage sites, Classic Everest Base Camp Trek, Manaslu Circuit Trek. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kathmandu?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
