    Fantastic Manaslu Circuit Trek

Went on this trek with two of my friends and we had an absolutely incredible time! Pasang Sherpa (owner and guide) and company were fantastic from beginning to end; really went above and beyond to give us a truly unique and memorable experience. He made sure to take us to many side attractions and expose us to local dishes and experiences. We'd often talk to other trekkers at the end of the day and find that they didn't even know those opportunities existed and were wowed by the added opportunities we had to explore. We really appreciated him meeting us in Kathmandu the day before our trek to check out all of our gear and make sure we had everything we'd need to be successful on trail. This continued during the trek where he helped to make sure we were staying healthy and always well fed! The tea he included at every rest stop and evening was a great added benefit! His management of accomodations and our timing on trail ensured we always had incredible views from our guest house rooms, rarely had to fight crowded bathrooms, or wait long for our meals. This really helped us move efficiently on trail day-to-day, a very important factor in having a comfortable and successful trip we had not even considered before going. We were able to get back to Kathmandu a day early due to incredibly good weather. On our return to Kathmandu he arranged for us to stay in a great hotel since our reservation didn't start until the following day. He also took care of us around the city, showing us other sites and helped us find great sources for all the gift shopping we wanted to do for friends and family. Pasang was an exceptional companion on trail and after. I went on this trip with my two closest childhood friends and Pasang seamlessly fit in with us and became a true friend along the way. He provided a truly excellent experience that exceeded all of our expectations. Can not recommend him more highly!

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your precious review of this trek.

    A great trip around Manaslu!

The Manaslu Circuit is a beautiful trek through river valleys and along the Manaslu Range. We had an amazing time thanks to the great work of Mount Adventure Holidays and our Guide Pasang Sherpa. Pasang customized our itinerary to ensure we visited cultural sites, paced well to acclimate to altitude, and found us accommodations at good tea houses along the way. We got so many great pictures from the trek, met travelers from all over the world on the trail, and got to enjoy local Nepali and Tibetan cultures. I recommend both this trek and working with Mount Adventure Holidays!

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for sharing your experience, ideas, and thoughts about your trekking here in Nepal with us Colin Tackett, through the means of reviews, we are also very happy to provide you our service's here in Nepal at any time. Have a great year and See you next time.

Manaslu Circuit Trek: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.

How much does Manaslu Circuit Trek cost?

    +

Prices start at $2000 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Manaslu Circuit Trek take?

    +

Plan for about 336 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.

Is Manaslu Circuit Trek worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 2 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Manaslu Circuit Trek?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Manaslu Circuit Trek suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 336-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Manaslu Circuit Trek?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 336-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Manaslu Circuit Trek start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?

    +

On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Private Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour | UNESCO World Heritage sites, Classic Everest Base Camp Trek, Manaslu Circuit Trek. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Kathmandu?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
