An experience I would absolutely recommend – 5 stars!

Before my trip, I honestly thought reviews this positive were almost impossible to write. After my experience, however, I can absolutely confirm: 5 stars out of 5, and I would wholeheartedly recommend this agency. From the very first contact, Mr. Rabin was always available, helpful and present. This was particularly important for me, as I was travelling alone and had organised the trek independently. He answered all my questions thoroughly and patiently, both before booking and throughout the whole experience. Even during the trek and after I returned, he continued to check how I was doing and whether I needed anything. I also really enjoyed having dinner with him and sharing a few conversations – it was a lovely personal touch. During the trek, my guide, Ramesh, was absolutely wonderful: always present, kind, helpful and genuinely caring about me and how I was feeling. He was always attentive and made me feel well looked after. His English was also very good, which made communication easy throughout the trek. I also booked a porter, Samu, which I definitely recommend if your budget allows it. It made the experience much more enjoyable and allowed me to focus on the trail and enjoy every single moment without having to carry a heavy backpack. Samu was also fantastic: kind, helpful and, above all, always smiling. Actually, if there is one thing that never failed during this trek, it was the smiles. I travelled towards the end of the off-season, before the main trekking season had properly started, so we met very few other trekkers and several guesthouses were still closed. Nevertheless, all the guesthouses selected for us were perfectly adequate and met my expectations, considering the conditions of the trek. Food was another very positive surprise: I ate very well throughout the trek. I personally had no issues with drinking water, using water purification tablets. A small practical tip: temperatures were surprisingly warm up to around 3,000 metres during my trek. I found a sleeping bag unnecessary, as all the guesthouses provided blankets. I would definitely recommend bringing your own pillowcase and sleeping bag liner for comfort and hygiene. The Manaslu Circuit itself is simply spectacular. The landscapes constantly change: waterfalls, forests, traditional villages, local culture, monasteries and beautiful lakes. There are so many different things to experience along the way. Reaching both Manaslu Base Camp and Larke La Pass (5,106 m) was an incredible satisfaction and made all the effort absolutely worthwhile. This is a long trek and requires good physical preparation. During the first 4–5 days, I was doing around 20 km and approximately 1,000 m of elevation gain per day. At higher altitudes, the elevation gain becomes more manageable, but the length of the trek should still be taken seriously. I was also very happy with the hotel recommended by the agency, and I was able to arrange with them to stay there for my first two nights. The airport transfers were also included, which made the beginning and end of the trip much easier. Overall, I couldn't be happier with my experience. The organisation, communication, guide, porter and personal attention were all excellent, but what I appreciated most was the feeling of being genuinely cared for throughout the entire journey. If you are planning your Manaslu trek and would like to see a little more of what the experience is actually like, you can also find me on Instagram. Feel free to follow me or send me a message if you have any questions or curiosities about the trek, the preparation or my experience. I’ll be more than happy to share what I learned and help if I can! If I ever return to Nepal for another trek, I would absolutely book with this agency again. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

    Trip of a Lifetime

Excellent experience from start to finish! Organizing the entire trip was very smooth and uncomplicated thanks to the great planning and communication of the CEO Rabin. A very special shout out to our guide Sukra, who made the whole experience unforgettable. He helped us pick out the correct hiking gear and optimal stores in Kathmandu, organized the best stays and transports on and off the trek, always made sure we were feeling well and made the whole experience more than just a hiking trip with his kindhearted and fun personality. We felt very safe every step of the way and learned a lot about the Nepalese culture from him. The Manaslu Circuit itself is beautiful and will surprise you with new landscapes every day. You will experience Nepalese and Tibetan culture along the way and get completely immersed into the mountains. Don't expect too much comfort in the tea houses, but that is the price for undisturbed landscapes and remote wilderness. Decent fitness levels and experience with hiking at high altitude are advised. Overall the individual hiking days are nicely paced and altitude acclimatization is factored in. But the crossing of the Larke Pass at the end is nonetheless very challenging.

    Manaslu Circuit

Did the Manaslu circuit trek in November 2025 with Everest Trekking Routes. Everything just worked perfectly from the pick up at the airport till the end of the trek. Especially many thanks to my guide and porter which were super friendly, competent, knew everything about the area and were super flexible to adjust the schedule.

    Great experience!

We had a great experience with Everest Trekking Routes. From our first inquiry to the end of our trip, Rabin was extremely responsive, typically answering our messages within 30 minutes. We received a warm welcome at our arrival in Kathmandu and Rabin and Milan provided a clear briefing of how the trek would unfold. Our guide and porter (Shendesh and Madan) were very professional and supported me in making the right decision after I came down with a serious gut infection while on the trek. The team quickly and seamlessly organized the helicopter rescue and visited me a couple times a day while we were in the hospital. They remained connected with us until the end of our stay in Kathmandu and provided support and recommendations as needed.

Manaslu Circuit Trek: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kathmandu.

How much does Manaslu Circuit Trek cost?

    +

Prices start at $1,300 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kathmandu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Manaslu Circuit Trek take?

    +

Plan for about 336 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kathmandu is not rushed.

Is Manaslu Circuit Trek worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 83 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 41 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kathmandu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Manaslu Circuit Trek?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Manaslu Circuit Trek suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 336-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Manaslu Circuit Trek?

    +

Around 14 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kathmandu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kathmandu and add a light layer if any part of the 336-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Manaslu Circuit Trek start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kathmandu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Kathmandu?

    +

On Outty we rank every Kathmandu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Kathmandu Sightseeing | UNESCO World Heritage sites Private/Group, Manaslu Circuit Trek, Manaslu Circuit Trek: Private Group & Discounte Price. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Kathmandu?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Kathmandu?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.

What is included in Manaslu Circuit Trek?

    +
