Rustic Tours is 10/10, Especially Douglas!
Rustic Tours was 5 Stars through and through. Everyone was professional and timely, from hotel pickup, to flight, to safari, and return. Douglas, Faith, and everyone else were great. We saw lions immediately after landing in Masai Mara, then proceeded to see most of the Big 5 and TONS of other animals, despite it being low season. Lodging accommodations were comfortable with good food and good service. We flew in in the morning, did an afternoon game drive, had dinner and slept, then did a 6am Game drive. Admission fee was covered. Weather was great. 4x4 Vehicle was great with perfect views. Highly recommended if you only have 2 days in Masai Mara or have never done a safari before. We feel like we got a lot out of time but wouldn't have wanted to do another day. Douglas was a 10/10 tour guide. He was chill, smart, safe, communicative, and could spot lions from a mile away! Can't speak highly enough of him.

Amazing last minute Safari
Kelvin and Rustic Nature tours was super responsive and flexible. We made the request for a 3 day Safari last minute (2 days before) and he was able to arrange everything very quickly and smoothly. the Safari was great, we were able to see all of the big animals within the park (leopards, Cheetahs, Lions) and even got to see a kill. Came away with some great pictures and the lodge they booked was perfect, great value for money. Kelvin was very knowledgeable and an excellent guide! Would highly recommend rustic nature tours for your Kenya Safaris.

Fantastic Safari Experience
An amazing time spent in the Massai Mara reserve with a great tour guide, Peter! He was very patient and made sure we had the best of views of the wild animals. Will certainly recommend! Kelvin was also a great host in Nairobi where we witnessed the scintillating Safari Cat dance!

Group joining safari
We really enjoyed the safari and saw a lot of animals from a short distance. Our driver (Geoff) was amazing and knew where to find the animals and how to approach them, we were often the first to spot and the closes to the animals. We saw everything except for rhino's, and even the rare caracal. Time management was good and we arrived in Nairobi well on time. Camp was fine (for a budget camp) and out in nature (we even heard Hyena's at night). Only points of improvement were the picnic lunch on the full-day safari: i.e. drink yoghurt that was in a hot car for 6+ hours and meat included in a vegetarian lunch. Moreover, we were told that we would probably be in a small group (maybe even private) in this season with a maximum of 6, but when we drove away there were supposed to be 9 people in our 8 people car... 1 person did not attend so we were with 8 (which is fine but then don't tell us we will be in a smaller group)
Response from the operator: Dear Jos B, Thank you for such a fabulous review. It was such a joy giving these memorable experiences from great Nairobi Top Attractions to the splendid Maasai Mara game reserve. There's so much joy in making your trusted client have nothing but beautiful memories and exceptional indelible moments. Your words just go to attest to the professionalism and utmost commitment we give to our treasured guests. And yes, Rustic Nature Tours Ltd, will curate your travel itinerary to suit your travel plans for once in a lifetime memory. Group tours can be overwhelming at the same time exciting, may be next time we can try a private safari. We have conducted the camp to make improvements on lunch in the near future. Karibu sana! We welcome you back to Kenya and delightfully await your return to explore and discover the rest of magical Kenya. Warm and best wishes,

Maasai Mara 3days private JEEP safari: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Nairobi.
How much does Maasai Mara 3days private JEEP safari cost?
+
Prices start at $950 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Nairobi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Maasai Mara 3days private JEEP safari take?
+
Plan for about 72 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Nairobi is not rushed.
Is Maasai Mara 3days private JEEP safari worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Nairobi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Maasai Mara 3days private JEEP safari?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Maasai Mara 3days private JEEP safari suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 72-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Maasai Mara 3days private JEEP safari?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Nairobi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Nairobi and add a light layer if any part of the 72-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Maasai Mara 3days private JEEP safari start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Nairobi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Nairobi?
+
On Outty we rank every Nairobi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 3 days group joining safari to Maasai Mara with a Land Cruiser Jeep, 1 Day trip to Hells Gate and optional Lake Naivasha From Nairobi, Nairobi Masai village Day Tour Experience. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Nairobi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Nairobi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
