    To avoid with this airline

I had chosen the visit at 1:30 pm and they telephoned me to inform me that they would pick me up at the hotel at 8:00 am..they arrived only at 8:30 am already.1 Colombian driver uses and arrives with a supposed guide speaking English..She did not speak it.The mini van uses was noisy and threatened at any moment to break down.Very little information received during our excursion. The guide was content to read some information on his so..and even that we did not understand. The mud bath was nice the rest really not top..The driver only wanted c is to return very quickly around 2:30 pm... They told me directly that lunch was not planned for me..of course as I had to leave at 13:30 as I had wished..I could still have lunch with the other participants by paying me of course. The restaurant with swimming pool was on top of a deserted beach in Cartagena.. No interest for me.. Bad experience because no professionalism of this Colombian team To avoid

Response from the operator: Good morning Emmanuel Raphazy, the day before the tour we called to inform you that there would be no afternoon departure and to ask if you would like to attend the morning tour, which you agreed to. We told you that you would be picked up between 8:15 and 8:30 am, which is the time corresponding to the area where you were staying, as it is a shared tour. Your tour was only to the mud volcano. As a way to compensate you for the time change, we took you to Galerazamba, where the salt flats and the pink sea phenomenon are located. We will send you the photo of you participating with the group in that activity in Galerazamba. Regarding lunch, you decided to stay and have lunch with the group and pay for it since your tour did not include it. We didn't take you to a deserted beach; our beach club where lunch is served is located in an exclusive area for those who love tranquility and relaxation, free from vendors. The return time was supposed to be at 2:30 pm because that's our regular return time. We regret that you didn't enjoy our services, the visit to our communities, our ecological sites, and the typical Colombian food.

    My experience in the volcano

Initially the tour was scheduled for the afternoon (including the title), but it was in the morning. Then we did not locate our hotel among the options available to search us. However, even not being among the options, the company picked us up at the hotel. Finally, to our surprise, as it was not very clear in the script. There were two other stops. One for lunch (paid out which cost COL 40k per person) and another to take a photo in a saline (but this I found pretty free). Overall, you find it very worth the experience of going to the volcano, just pay attention to the charges made by the local residents (10 k per person to hold the slippers, 10 k to take photos, 10 k to massage and 10 k to help wash, all optional).

Response from the operator: Olá!

    Okay experience.i have had better.

Pick up was late. I thought they were not going to show up. The bus was packed with a lot of people. Say goodbye to COVID because it does not exist on this tour. The AC was very low so the bus was very hot. We stopped by a small village which was very depressing. The museum was just a bunch of sad looking artifacts in glass boxes. Idk why they include that sad museum in the tour. Then we stopped by the pink sea where we could not get close because they were in the process of gathering the salt. When we got to the volcano, you have to make a line to get in. We waited like 30min. When you are finally there a guy offers to take your pics and then you are given 30 min to stay in the mud. The mud was fun. After coming out of the mud, the ground was incredibly hot my feet got burnt and it hurt so bad. We were given some sandals from who knows where because the kids that had kept our sandals were not around to give us our sandals. Then, they make you get into a dirty lake to clean yourself off. I would not do this tour again. Maybe worth doing it once, but not again. Also the people taking care of your sandals and taking your pics will ask for a tip. I only tipped the photographer. Tour was alright. I was not happy with it.

Response from the operator: Thank you for giving your opinion. We will work very hard to improve :)

    Perfect length of time

Two lovely guides. Prompt hotel pickup. Cool bus driver. Unforgettable experience at the mud volcano. Sadly couldn't get a super close look at the salt sea but that visit was short and sweet. All done in four hours. Pro tip: The photographer, masseuses and the lady who gives you a bath in the nearby lagoon(that was the best part in my opinion) all expect a tip after. USD singles or smaller pesos you really should have on hand for this....

Response from the operator: Thank you for giving your opinion. We will work very hard to improve :)

Los Pinos Beach Club Sunset with Lunch and Cocktail: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cartagena.

How much does Los Pinos Beach Club Sunset with Lunch and Cocktail cost?

    +

Prices start at $47 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cartagena usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Los Pinos Beach Club Sunset with Lunch and Cocktail take?

    +

Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cartagena is not rushed.

Is Los Pinos Beach Club Sunset with Lunch and Cocktail worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 54 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.7/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cartagena, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Los Pinos Beach Club Sunset with Lunch and Cocktail?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Los Pinos Beach Club Sunset with Lunch and Cocktail suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Los Pinos Beach Club Sunset with Lunch and Cocktail?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cartagena can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cartagena and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Los Pinos Beach Club Sunset with Lunch and Cocktail start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cartagena within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cartagena?

    +

On Outty we rank every Cartagena experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cartagena Antigua & Barrio Getsemani group with audio system, Historic Center & Getsemaní Shared Tour in Cartagena, Cartagena VIP Boat Tour: Rosario Islands & Snorkel. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cartagena?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cartagena?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
