    Our Cabo Snorkel experience

The crew were excellent hosts and the food was much better than other lunch cruises weve been on. unfortunately the lack of gear (fins) and extreme currents and rough water at the dive location made it an exhausting experience.

Response from the operator: Kindest regards from Los Cabos. We value and thank you a lot your comment and opinion. I will let the manager know your comment. Customer experience is important to us and we work hard to provide a great service. We will take into consideration your comment about gear.

Went with nine members of my family, who were ready to have a great time and the pirate ship delivered! The service was outstanding and engaging. The locations were great. They spent a lot of time on safety and they kept us hydrated ;)

Great snorkeling trip with a pirate twist

This was a really fun experience on a pirate ship. The snorkeling was in a good spot for Cabo. There was plenty of equipment to use. They had lots of drinks available for everyone and plenty of food. They even kept the Entertainment going the entire trip.

Response from the operator: Kindest regards from Los Cabos. We value and thank you a lot your comment and opinion. Customer experience is important to us and we will continue working hard to provide it, this motivate us even more to do it. Thank you again and we look forward to serve you again in a near future.

Poor Experience on a Second Rate Offering

The Pirate snorkel tour bumped us off to a catamaran tour, which delivered far less that what the Pirate tour advertised. Service on shore and on the boat was poor all the way around, but for one server who was exceptional. The boat was not overly comfortable. Lunch was OK. Snorkeling was a waste of time as the boat took us to a dead zone where there were absolutely zero fish and the water was quite murky. All in all a complete waste of money.

Response from the operator: Kindest regards from Los Cabos, we sincerely apologize for not having the experience you expected, I will pass your comments to operations department in regards to service provided, as for Snorkeling the location we always took clients is the same and is one of the best spots we have in the area, sorry to hear was not as expected. All the very best.

    Bad Weather but Good Experience

The sea was very choppy and we found out when we boarded that the snorkeling beaches had red flag warnings which meant no swimming. We did however tour the bay by Land's End and then go up the coast towards San Jose del Cabo, very relaxing. I want to commend the staff, they were the best, super attentive bringing drinks, removing dirty dishes. The food was excellent, absolutely no complaints.

Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to write about your experience! We are happy to read that you had a great experience with us. We certainly hope to welcome you back in the near future! All the best.

Los Cabos Snorkel and Pirate Ship Adventure with Lunch: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cabo San Lucas.

How much does Los Cabos Snorkel and Pirate Ship Adventure with Lunch cost?

    +

Prices start at $99 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cabo San Lucas usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Los Cabos Snorkel and Pirate Ship Adventure with Lunch take?

    +

Plan for about 3.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cabo San Lucas is not rushed.

Is Los Cabos Snorkel and Pirate Ship Adventure with Lunch worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cabo San Lucas, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Los Cabos Snorkel and Pirate Ship Adventure with Lunch?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Los Cabos Snorkel and Pirate Ship Adventure with Lunch suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Los Cabos Snorkel and Pirate Ship Adventure with Lunch?

    +

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cabo San Lucas can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cabo San Lucas and add a light layer if any part of the 3.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Los Cabos Snorkel and Pirate Ship Adventure with Lunch start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cabo San Lucas within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cabo San Lucas?

    +

On Outty we rank every Cabo San Lucas experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Humpback Whale Watching Tour in Cabo San Lucas, Cabo Desert Off-Road & Beach Horseback Combo and Tequila Tasting, Cabo All-Inclusive Private Beach Club with Open Bar and Buffet. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cabo San Lucas?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cabo San Lucas?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
