What you'll see and do

  1. Somebody once said if “you aren’t in Love with London, you aren’t in love with life.” A place of hopes and dreams, but also a place of death and betrayal. When you first arrive, most people tend to have Buckingham Palace at the top of their list, but London is so much more! It has stunning architecture, an unforgettable history and some of the best stories in the world tied to its locations. By booking on a tour, you can experience the highs and lows the city.  Start your tour from the cobbled courtyard, which is one of the gruesomely titled locations and commemorates the murder of society’s beauty.

  2. Then, find your way towards the oldest house which survived the Great Fire of London. Imagine what the housing system was like before 1666! Walk along Cock Lane, a street that takes its name after Brothels occupied the street in past centuries. You then arrive at a church where you see the notorious execution bell, which rung 12 times to the condemned on the morning of their execution.

  3. If you are getting thirsty, don’t worry! Dirty Dicks is next on the agenda and of course, it's named after a dirty man with bad habits.

    10 minutes here

  4. After a rest bite, you can see where bodies of the dead dogs were found before you come to the Cornhill Devils, three terracotta figures, an unusual example of the long-lasting revenge to church officials. Follow your Guide to see small statue of two mice, which hides the tragic story about two men behind it. Continuing towards the grave, you see the grave of the woman who brought plague to London in 1665 and the water pump causing its epidemic. Killing over 100,000 Londoners, the water contained human remains after being seeped into the stream from cemeteries. It’s not for the faint-hearted.

    30 minutes here

  5. London Docklands Visitor Centre

To end it all, you finish your tour by the Dock, which was used for over 400 years to execute criminals found guilty of crimes at sea. Provoking the mind, you get to share the experience with others, hear stories of tragic deaths and get a taste of what London has to offer!

London Witchcraft London: Witch Trials, Torture & Paganism: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for London.

How much does London Witchcraft London: Witch Trials, Torture & Paganism cost?

+

Prices start at $95 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in London usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does London Witchcraft London: Witch Trials, Torture & Paganism take?

+

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in London is not rushed.

Is London Witchcraft London: Witch Trials, Torture & Paganism worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 47 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (0/5 across 0 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in London, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule London Witchcraft London: Witch Trials, Torture & Paganism?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is London Witchcraft London: Witch Trials, Torture & Paganism suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 6. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 2-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book London Witchcraft London: Witch Trials, Torture & Paganism?

+

Around 0 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in London can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in London and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does London Witchcraft London: Witch Trials, Torture & Paganism start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central London within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in London?

+

London's best attractions split cleanly: the museums are free and need no booking, so the paid market is about views, theatre and getting out of the city for a day. That makes value scoring unusually important here, and the Outty Ranking penalises anything charging premium prices for access you could get for nothing. On Outty we rank every London experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Soho Music & Historic Pubs Tour, London Small Group Tour of Historical Pubs, The Great British Rock and Roll Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit London?

+

May to September for long evenings, December for the Christmas markets. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in London?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
