A nice bus tour

It was good, easy to understand, filled with a lot of dad jokes or side stories which distracted from the sites. Things were often behind us.

Response from the operator: Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad to hear that you found the tour easy to understand and appreciated the information provided. We also appreciate your honest comments about the additional jokes and side stories, as well as the positioning of some of the commentary. We understand that this may have made it harder to focus on the sights at times, particularly when points of interest were behind the group. Your feedback is valuable, and we’ll share it with our team as we continue working to make the commentary engaging while keeping the focus on the destinations. Thank you for choosing us, and we hope to welcome you again for an even better experience. Warm regards, Evanevanstours team

London at night

This is my 4th trip to London and I’ve always checked out the sites during the day. Riding around at night brings a different feel to seeing the city. Everything is lit up and magical. The guide was very knowledgeable and funny. We enjoyed the 1.5 hr tour. Keep in mind that this is not a hop on hop off type tour. You will stay on the bus the whole time. It’s a great way to ride around and take in the sites at night.

Response from the operator: Dear Guest, Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful experience with us, and for choosing to tour with us again during your fourth trip to London! We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed seeing the city from a different perspective at night. London’s illuminated landmarks really do create a magical atmosphere. It’s fantastic to hear that you enjoyed the 1.5-hour tour and found your guide both knowledgeable and funny. We also appreciate you highlighting that this is a sightseeing tour where guests remain on the bus throughout — we’re sure this will be helpful to future travellers. Thank you for your kind recommendation, and we hope to welcome you back to London and on another Evan Evans tour in the future! Evan Evans Tours Team

Flexible operator and hilarious tour guide!

We really enjoyed our tour! We arrived as people were boarding so there was only space on the ground level. I asked if we could take the next bus as it was really hot so we could sit on the top level. They let us wait for next ride and put us first in line! The guide was hilarious, had a great singing voice and we learned a lot of stuff ! highly recommend but we should have done it at the beginning of our trip!

Response from the operator: Thank you for your fantastic review! We're so pleased our team could accommodate you and that you enjoyed the tour and your guide. We hope to welcome you again on your next visit to London.

London by Night Sightseeing Tour - Open Top Bus: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for London.

How much does London by Night Sightseeing Tour - Open Top Bus cost?

+

Prices start at $16 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in London usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does London by Night Sightseeing Tour - Open Top Bus take?

+

Plan for about 1.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in London is not rushed.

Is London by Night Sightseeing Tour - Open Top Bus worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 74 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 1,090 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in London, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule London by Night Sightseeing Tour - Open Top Bus?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is London by Night Sightseeing Tour - Open Top Bus suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book London by Night Sightseeing Tour - Open Top Bus?

+

Around 382 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in London can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in London and add a light layer if any part of the 1.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does London by Night Sightseeing Tour - Open Top Bus start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central London within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in London?

+

London's best attractions split cleanly: the museums are free and need no booking, so the paid market is about views, theatre and getting out of the city for a day. That makes value scoring unusually important here, and the Outty Ranking penalises anything charging premium prices for access you could get for nothing. On Outty we rank every London experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Soho Music & Historic Pubs Tour, London Small Group Tour of Historical Pubs, The Great British Rock and Roll Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit London?

+

May to September for long evenings, December for the Christmas markets. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in London?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
